  1. Fields is definitely a great QB prospect, no problems with that. Can't imagine him over Wilson though.
  2. In todays NFL, there is a very slim chance of you winning a super bowl without a franchise QB. Plus side if you have Mahomes, Watson, Brady, Allen, Rodgers, or Wilson. You are almost always in the race with those guys. CMC will almost never get you 2+ wins by himself, we already know this given the last two years. 2-3 first rounders is certainly steep, but you have a much better chance bouncing back from that loss than finding a Deshaun Watson play literally ever again. Tepper and company know this, they know what is needed to elevate a franchise, and they know a franchise QB is building block #1. If you do not have that guy, you are going to keep rebuilding until you do, while the players you spend first round picks on walk out the door.
  3. I am siding with you here lol Loose strands do not make a full head of hair. I no longer believe Houston will be able to retain him.
  4. I have been telling everyone for two months that Watson wants out, Tepper and company will give up whatever they need to to get him. I get loose details on what we are willing to give up, and have said for a while CMC will likely be included. Done deal this is not, but I do believe we are as close an anyone else to getting him.
  5. I will again reiterate this is not a "done" thing, but we are very much in the race. I do not believe Watson will stay in HOU.
  6. I do think Houston will trade him. I will get back to you on teams.
  7. Don't be shocked if there are also a couple of mid round picks thrown in there from either side. Not a done deal. Three teams in race. That is all I know.
  8. 1st 1st 1st Possibly CMC Defensive starter
  9. Likely for Fields if I had to guess. Assuming WIlson goes 2 and we cannot get up to 2.
  10. Lazy eye jokes aren't funny and neither is his cap hit.
  11. Making room for a big qb contract perhaps.
  12. More focus on him lead to a dip in production, that's pretty much it. He moved from a sure fire WR1 to an upside WR2 IMO.
  13. I mean as a prospect coming out of TCU...
  14. Very limited QB. Can succeed within a system that allows it. A better Andy Dalton.
