  1. Ekwonu is my favorite, his tape is so much fun. He is a locked in 10 year dominant left tackle.

    Laid-Off

On the plus side, you probably got laid off at the best time, lots of opportunity.
  3. Blaine Gabbert is better than every QB on our roster. I am going to go cry now.
  4. I really doubt it. Probably next years 3rd and a player.
  5. I just struggle because of how deep this center class is, which is made even more frustrating by the fact we have one pick in the top 100. We could have absolutely gotten a high level starter with our second this year.
  6. Shameless plug time. I wrote an article about it here. https://catcrave.com/2022/02/25/5-shocking-draft-picks-carolina-panthers-6/ More seriously though, I do expect Hamilton and Thibodeaux to be very much in play should the scenario play out that we address QB in FA/Trade and the top 3 tackles go off the board by 6 (a very real possibility). I know trade down is a popular theory, and that could become a realistic scenario should Kayvon be there, but would you want to trade down instead of taking him? Would you be okay with Hamilton at the other hybrid safety role? I personally think 6 is too high for a center, but would you be okay with Linderbaum?
  7. I mean, it all depends on the board honestly. Thibodeaux seems like the biggest home run if he were to fall to 6, but I haven't heard a connection or anything.
  8. Penning would be fine honestly. I wouldn't take him over Cross though :x
  9. There are multiple QBs that fill all those requisites you listed. Malik Willis, Kenny Pickett, Desmond Ridder, etc etc are all high IQ grinder quarterbacks. You sort of have to be to be ultra productive in college like these guys were. Malik's coach talked about that the other day.
  10. All well and good, but he did not do that in college. His numbers are not good under pressure, and the tape tells you that as well. Does he step up well in the pocket? Yeah sometimes. Other times he just kind of stands there and takes sacks. I'm not trying to hate on Strong, because I do like him, I just think we are kidding ourselves with the idea that he is this day one starter that is going to be an excellent passer out of the gate. He needs a year to fix things, and even then you are working with a limited upside. How a quarterback responds to pressure is huge, and Strong is a mixed bag in that regard.
  11. Big fan. Think he can work his way up to QB1 in the draft. Reminds me of a sort of diet Mahomes. Would love to see what he does at the combine.
  12. I love Willis obviously lol I am okay with Pickett, Howell, or Corral in the bottom of the first. I think Pickett and Corral have the highest chance of success in the NFL. Ridder has shown enough for me personally. Glass is a later round flyer, but there could be something there.
  13. He does not do well under pressure, and cannot evade it, not a good combination. He also has shown he has trouble executing outside of the pocket at all, to include boot legs. Injury history is the cherry on top. A big pass for me, you cannot operate in the NFL as a young QB with no mobility or ability to make plays outside the pocket, it just doesn't work.
  14. I am pretty sure he tried to push for Fields last year and regrets not pushing more now. Doubt that helps at all.
  15. I am not entirely sure yet. I know they love Kenny Pickett. I don't doubt they go after Watson again, but I will get back to you.
  16. So people like Igo, me, and Norris say it happened, and then Marty Hurney says it happened, but that is just fake? I guess I am not following the logic. He literally tells you he tried to move up for Greg Little. He would have drafted Greg Little at 16 if Burns was not there.
