Man U losing like that to Leicester is the only thing that's taken some of the sting of losing to West Brom today. I'm not going to have any expectations this year anymore. Wherever we land on the table, we land. I do know that if we don't break the bank in January to bring in one or two world-class strikers, then we will not be competing for top 4 at all. This sucks, I'm sitting here watching the embarrassment of riches both Man City and Chelsea have sitting on the bench, and wonder how anyone competes with the blood and oil money they have. Hat's off to Arsenal for keeping with them for the most part, with one-fifth the spending. That's a testament to Wenger's teaching. I think Poch can get us there eventually, but not unless we spend wisely on proven EPL strikers... not some bums from a lower league. It's like seeing the biggest fish in the little pond and expecting them to swim in the big one. So frustrating...

Going back to the beginning of last season, they've earned 33 points out of 26 home appearances. It's not great, but it's also not as bad as made out to be. Most of the losses came from big clubs. This year, they're now 3 points out of 4 home games, which is a bit dreadful. I see where your point is, but historically, they've not been too shabby at home. I still stand by that it's a tough place to play, based on historical stats.

Don't give up hope yet... I'm not convinced WHU will be relegated at all. If they keep playing like this at home, and win a few on the road, they may just sit a little below midtable by season's end. They're not a bad team at all, like QPR is, so this may not be a true reflection of Liverpool's status.

Shocked Skrtel didn't get a yellow for that dive he did in the first. But I told you guys it isn't easy to win at West Ham. They play extremely tough at home.

To be fair to my guys though, both Sunderland goals were the luckiest I've seen in a long time. But to be honest, we didn't capitalize on our dominance that game, and screwed the pooch in the final third for yet another week. If we don't bring in a real striker in the January window, I'm gonna start petitioning Levy to be gone. Ade sucks... it's like he's afraid of the box now for some reason.

They just lost to Stoke in the third game of the season. Anything and everything is still possible. I like how much parity is shaping up so far for the league.
