So what's the story behind these concept helmets or is there one? Is it something the NFL is kicking around or just something this Deeyung Entertainment came up with on their own?

Has Voth changed his opinion of Hardy's future?
Johnny Rockets replied to Nick_81's topic in Carolina Panthers
Logic would have me believe that the main reason fans should want this is to have Hardy back on the field in a Panther uniform, but then again....I did say logic and that doesn't always fit in with mob mentality. -

Ben Roethlisberger was suspended without ever being charged. Honestly I imagine the NFL can suspend someone even if they are acquitted. -

ac·quit free (someone) from a criminal charge by a verdict of not guilty. "she was acquitted on all counts" synonyms: clear, exonerate, find innocent, absolve; -

Greg Hardy was not acquitted in the court of law. The charges were dropped because the accuser and state's main witness was allegedly paid off to not testify against him. -

Well she is traveling the country on Greg's money so I'm sure they could meet up somewhere. -

Listened to TD do an interview 2 days ago on the radio while driving home from work and when asked about wanting Hardy back he stated he would like to have Hardy's talent back on the field. Praised his play on the field, work ethic, and love of the game.....then he finished by saying he also respects the fact that there are some serious hurdles when it comes to Greg that makes him coming back to the Panthers difficult. Listening to him speak, didn't seem to me like he was 100% lobbying for Greg to come back honestly. Not saying he was against it either though. -
Ian Rappoport confirms it was a hoax
Johnny Rockets replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
Let me see if I understand all this: - So fake Rapaport tweet of Cam rejecting contract was made (or just posted) by Dexterity and posted on Huddle - Igo tweets out what has been posted here so now it is out beyond the Huddle - Rapaport catches wind of fake tweet and says he has no idea WTF it was but wasn't him. - Now it is a he said / she said thing when in reality no one said really anything because the whole thing was fake and started here? Is that remotely close? -

I don't think people realize that Goodell has nothing to do with handing out suspensions anymore or the investigation into disciplinary cases. Any suspension Hardy may or may not get will have nothing to do with Goodell. Goodell does handle the appeals of those cases so if the NFLPA appeals the ruling.....well, good luck with that because I can't see him reducing anything related to domestic violence.

Ted Ginn Jr could return to Panthers
Johnny Rockets replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
Ginn coming back to Charlotte makes perfect sense for both sides. Panthers need the special teams help and Ginn has always wanted to be known as more than a return specialist and the Panthers are the team that allowed him to do that and he knows that. I think when (and if) he is released from AZ, Ginn coming back to Carolina is probable. -

Yep, logic would have you believe she was paid to go away - send her on a long vacation out of the country so she can't get served. Makes perfect sense. Since I have come to realize that the Huddle is made up of 60% lawyers I have a question......is that legal or some sort of witness tampering?

If Cam, Romo or Peyton threw that game ending INT....

Superbowl over hyped to the point of nauseum
Johnny Rockets replied to Jmac's topic in Carolina Panthers
I'm honestly looking forward to seeing her at halftime. Better than looking at crypt keepers like the Rolling Stones out there. Plus Lenny Kravitz is performing with her.....should be a good performance. On a side note - I've found it funny that the more people watch the halftime show than the actual game itself and the ratings go up during that time. -
Official* - Manny Pacquiao v. Floyd Mayweather - May 2, 2015
Johnny Rockets replied to h0llywood's topic in Huddle Lounge
It's late in the game for this match and they are wanting a payday but I'd still watch it. Haven't really watched boxing since Prince Naseem Hamed got destroyed by Barrera and that had to be more than 10 years ago. Anyone else think Floyd and Manny meeting face to face for the first time at the Heat game the other day wasn't a coincidence? Interesting thought about announcing the fight during the Superbowl....makes perfect marketing sense. -
Superbowl over hyped to the point of nauseum
Johnny Rockets replied to Jmac's topic in Carolina Panthers
If I am not mistaken the World Cup final match has about 1 billion people watching it live on TV. The Superbowl is a bit over 100 million usually. I also think that the Cricket championship is watched by almost 1 billion people as well. It's hard to believe since the Superbowl is such a big deal to us but things like soccer, cricket, and formula 1 racing are 10x's as popular globally as the NFL is. -

Johnny Rockets replied to Jmac's topic in Carolina Panthers
I would party much less if my team was in it so I didn't miss a thing. I like the actual Superbowl game and this is why I don't have an interest in going to SB parties anymore. I found myself socializing and paying more attention to Beyonce shaking her ass at halftime than watching the game itself. Half my office takes off on SB Monday - it's kind of like NYE...people are going to party just for the occasion itself. -

Don't have a team to root for really and don't have one to root against but this SB is fantastic from a football perspective for many reasons. It may be a total blowout but the match up going into the game couldn't be much better IMO. I haven't watched much of the hoopla because so much of it has been about deflated footballs and not the game itself but really looking forward to the actual game on Sunday.
