  1. How did everyone do over the weekend? I'm worn out, between eating right, working out, yard work, cleaning the house and trying to be active with my kid, oh yeah and that thing called working for a living. I feel/want to sleep for two days straight, wake up and eat a bunch of chicken wings and ice cream.
  2. Wish I could do that, I'm a morning person but I have the hardest time waking up and working out.

  4. Just finished The Pyramid. Are those the ones you're talking about? Because I NAILED IT! The ab sequence after the push ups burned like a mother fuger though. I want to try Speed 3.0 soon, might have to move a few things around.Speed workouts kill me and make my feet hurt.
  5. Nice! Good job. I typically do two T25s when I do T25 workouts, I'm curious to see if I'm able to handle it now that I'm doing some Gamma workouts. Good luck! Right Now this is my schedule: Sunday-T25 cardio (choice), T25 Extreme Circuit Monday-T25 Rip't Up, T25 (core choice) and leg lifts and squats Tuesday-T25 Gamma (choice) and yoga Wednesday- Insanity Max Cardio Conditioining Thursday- P90X Legs and Back Friday- Insanity Max Plyo Saturday-T25 Upper focus, T25 lower focus, and leg lifts
  6. Got T25 Gamma today. Started with Rip't Up. Good stuff. and yeah too much beer and wine this weekend and one night I had a smores brownie and some of a cheese dip. I felt sick I guess because I'm not use to that crap. I did better this holiday then I typically do.
  7. That's freakin awesome! I know that's not easy. You should be super proud of yourself.
  8. Go for it! I've been doing leg lifts with ankle weights and am seeing nice thigh muscle definition mainly in the back which is where I need it. I saw a pic of Jessica Simpson and she inspired me. She was pretty big not long ago and her leg muscles are insane, not sure I want that much but still impressive.
  9. I'm starting to see a difference in my ass and back thighs! Not sure if it's the food, or the leg lifts with ankle weights or both but it's working! YAY!

  11. The pull up/burpee went for 16 mintues. First minute you do 8 pull ups, next minute you do 8 burpees, next 8 pull ups, then the next minute 8 burpees. Obviously when you start it's quite easy and the first few rounds you have a lot of time left in that minute to rest. As it gets harder it takes you more time and you get less of a rest. Since I was using a band to do pull ups I had about 35 seconds of rest each round making it not to difficult for me. My husband didn't use the band for pull ups til the very end. Bascially you're doing 64 pull ups and 64 burpees within 16 minutes. edit: As far as variety, I meant I like more than just a handful of moves.
  12. Did cross fit last night followed by a yoga class. They had a bar and we did back squats to warm up. One each time and then you add more weight until you max out. I didn't realize that was how it worked or I would have kept going, I stopped at 105 lbs. could have done more especially since it was just one squat. I thought at some point we'd be doing more than one squat ( my silly assumption). Then we did 16 minutes of pull ups and burpees (8 pull ups every other minute, 8 burpees every other minute). I used the band, so the pull ups were easy, burpees were fine, by the end we were drenched, It was fun, they split you in groups of two so you had a team feeling/competition feeling going on and a time limit. Overall I don't think it's for me because I like longer work outs with more variety however it even further my interest in getting a bar for my house. Squating with dumbbells feels very different.
  13. Insanity with some pull ups and weights thrown in sounds awesome. I'm trying to keep an open mind going in. I doubt i make the class a routine, since I enjoy working out at home and it doesn't take me away from my kid that much. He's out of town this week so we have a list of everything we want to try together but never have the ability to do it.
  14. What make something Cross fit? I dont plan on doing this long term. I'm curious what makes a workout a Cross fit workout, it seems people are just making up their own WODs.
  15. Doing Cross fit tonight for the first time then a yoga class. Not sure what I'm getting myself into with Cross fit.
  16. Went to the White water rafting center on Sunday, had a good time. It was fun applying the muscles I've built to a challenge.
  17. After several weeks of very healthy eating, last night I had 1.5 glasses of wine, movie theater popcorn and an oreo. I got up and felt fat. Sometimes I'm so fuging insane it scares me
  18. Annoying, that should be a top priority. Could be they aren't calling for less cooling just that they need to make some repairs to their units, either way if they don't fix it they are being cheap bastards.
  19. With the outside temp and lots of people working out and people going in and out it's gonna be hard to meet set point.
  20. No time to workout today so I'm doing a push up challenge at work. Set of 30 every 15 mins or so depending on work load.
  21. I agree, weight really isn't relevant to me.
