  1. Those cookies look delish...are they pretty tasty?

My protein snack is this: 1/4 cup of peanut butter (natural;made from peanuts and salt) 1/2 smashed banana 1 cup of muesli mix it up, flatten it out on wax paper (i flatten it out into a large rectangle, hubby does it different) and freeze for 90 mins. Cut into bars. I keep mine in the freezer. I think they taste good that way.
  3. They notice most girls feel they are suppose to hid that stuff or pretend they don't care.
  4. So do you keep a huge tire at your house and flip it around or something?? Is that what crossfit people do?
  5. My husband had knee surgery. He is finally allowed to do most cardio exercises! I'm so glad I have my favorite work out partner back. happy girl
  6. Yes it does but that will get u back on track.
  7. I'd mix things up, so it doesn't wear and then see how it does.
  8. I have zero clue, how bad is it? Can u run, jump, bike, squat? I'd talk to a physical therapist.
  9. lol i certainly don't mind!but I'm so in to my workout I barely see the TV, I mainly just need his voice for directions. Did you know he's actually married to a dude.

  13. Yes it is! I love when i get into a cycle where working out is the a highlight in my day. Right now I have to force myself to have a rest day every 10 days or so.

  15. I start tennis class today. I'm not sure how much of a workout it will be. I think I'll wear my heart rate monitor. I am excited about learning how to play though. I've been doing Isanity workouts still. I can't stop!! But I've added Brazilian Butt lift from Beachbody into the mix. It's OK, not sure it's doing much compared to insanity. The tummy tuck workout for the abs is pretty good, it hurts like a fuging crazy though. I've notice a new line on my abs pop up since I started it.
  16. Agreed. My son has ate and learned to love veggies since he could eat real food. I offer him the meal I cook. Our rule was and is If he doesn't like it, he doesn't eat. He always eventually eats it and he typically ends up liking it. I have friends who's kids ONLY eat mac and cheese, chicken nuggets, fries, goldfish crackers, drink CHOCOLATE milk ONLY, etc. They make two dinners or go and get the kid chickfila multiple times a week. . I just don't get that.
  17. I've been reading a little about nutella, I'm gonna give that a try. I have him eating pretty healthy and he's very open to new things which is awesome for a 6 year old. I try to limit his sweet intake to just a few times a week. However when I make brownies he gets like 1 or two and i eat like 4 and daddy cleans the rest out. He's skinny as a toothpick but I still don't like him eating junk for health reasons and habits.
  18. How about nutrition? That's where I struggle the most. I'll be doing great working out but it's hard to get my act together food wise and keep it together. For the last year I've been somewhat a vegetarian, eating meat only occasionally. I didn't miss meat. The meals actually became more interesting and fun to cook. My problem is desserts at night. I can eat fantastic all day then someone pops open a bottle of wine or the kid starts begging for brownies or cookies and it all goes down hill. This weekend I'm going to try a recipe with Quinoa. Some how cooking vegetarian for a year and I haven't made one dish with it.
  19. 10s, 15s and 20s. I don't want to get huge but I like being strong. Able to do a good amount of push and pull ups.
  20. I don't go to a gym. I workout at home with dumbelss and a pull up bar. P90x, insanity and Brazilian but lift.
  21. Thanks guys. Ill try some of those moves. My goal is 8 but I'd love to make it to 10. Thanks for the tips. Darth I'm up to 130 lbs most days. Gained weight from insanity but dropped to a size 2.
  22. I'm trying to build my pull up count. Do you think there is a peak number from person to person? Ive halted at 6...again. Any tips to increase that? Other excercises that will help that number go up?
  23. Finished insanity over the weekend. I highly recommend. My cardio condition is ridiculous! I did p90x plyometrics the other day and it was as cinch. I think this is the best shape I've ever been in. Starting tennis Class next week and a new workout routine.
