    Maybe Rhule wants to get fired. He can collect his salary from Tepper and then get another college job. Win/win for him.

    If rumors are accurate, Hurney wanted to trade up to get Herbert. Obviously Rhule was not in agreement and we have Brown.

    I think the Panthers have a QB plan but It will be difficult to correct all of the past decisions in one offseason. Since Rhule has been the HC, the Panthers have made a mess at QB. Hopefully getting a real NFL offensive coordinator will instill some better decisions. McAdoo was a terrible HC but a solid O- coordinator and worked with some really good QB’s.

    Still need a QB1 with or without Sam. None of the rookies are ready to be a QB1. Other than guaranteeing Sam’s year 5, the other big mistake the Panthers made last year is not having any QB competition. They get rid of Sam they need two QB’s.

    Perhaps but you have to believe Houston is also in the QB market unless they think Mills is it.

    Yeah I think the Giants have #5 but they may be drafting a QB themselves unless Jones suddenly gets it.

    Hope the Panthers don’t trade up to pick Pickett.

    I don’t know if Rhule will improve but I definitely think that having Macadoo as the offensive coordinator will show a big improvement along with a competent offensive line coach.

    If they wanted Minshew than why didn’t they just get him from Jax last year instead of trading for Sam? He would have been significantly cheaper and no lost 2nd round pick.

    Tepper finally got some consistency…..Last year Stafford vetoed coming to Carolina. This year it’s Watson.

    Can you imagine how much better off this team would be right now if this brain trust did not give Sam Darnold $18 million guaranteed this year.

    Serious question- why would Watson leave Houston for the Panthers? What would make him think things are better in Carolina…..

    The Panthers gave up a very high 2nd for Sam…#38 to be exact.

    If he is traded how much of his contract will the Panthers be responsible? Or are they still on the hook for a huge amount?

    Unfortunately, the Panthers have already drafted a QB in the 2022 draft. His name is Sam Darnold and he was selected at #38…a very high 2nd round pick. Please, no more QB projects using high draft picks.
