  1. U taking those post workout? They should all be good together.
  2. Look at those abs. My man is ripped, I told y'all. Now that these pics are out, Rihanna will be calling any day now.
  3. No, it wasn't terrible... she wasn't "fat" I don't consider... however when we met in 1993 she was 5'4" and 105. Her body structure isn't meant for 150. The plus side was that her boobs were huge... like DD's. I wasn't unhappy with her looks... and other than the fact that she ate so bad it surely was having an effect on her health her weight didn't bother me. She made random comments here and there about her weight going up, but didn't really like it (obviously) if I ever said anything, which was mostly in regard to what she ate... When she saw that picture tho, it was on... I didn't really consider that I was "fat" either... but at 6'0" and 235 and not being able to workout from October 2010 to June 2011 at all, I was starting to get there. As soon as the Dr cleared me I've hit the gym harder than I ever have since then... I've gone all the way down to 205 and back up to 215 with a lot more muscle mass and 4 inches smaller pants.
  4. sorry Jase, but I laughed a bit... My wife got up to 150 and at 5'4" she was really starting to put it on. I know some on this site made light of the fact that I mentioned she was putting weight on when I was supposedly "fat" too... and I was... but I got in the gym in mid 2011 after my shoulder surgery in late 2010 and busted my ass. What it took for my wife, who lost 30+ pounds last year was seeing a picture of herself when we took a family photo at my son's award banquet. That kickstarted her and she got to eating right and started running/doing aerobics. You got to get her some motivation, either positive or negative... and she's got to want to do it.
  5. Fan art of Dan Simmon's Hyperion Cantos
  6. You changed your handle... stop that. I just realized who you are.
  7. We did normal squats and supersetted these two machines...
  8. Squat, hurl, Squat, hurl... that is the proper way to workouit.
  9. I have heard that yoga is srs bizness. Never tried it. I worked out a few weeks ago with a lady in my gym that does fitness shows. I had seen her doing all kind of crazy leg stuff... man she about killed me. We did some squats and stuff I'd never even seen before and she made me do these double dip lunges across the gym and back. I had a real hard time getting out of the bed the next morning. Any time you change it up like that your body takes notice. It's no wonder her ass and legs look so awesome.
  10. Exactly. I work a desk job and sit in front of this computer 8-9 hours a day. If I didn't hit the gym after work every day and at least attempt to monitor what I eat (even tho I don't do as good of a job on it as I could) I would weigh approximately 400 lbs.
  11. Oh if you follow P90X like you should, it is no joke for sure. People on here have had great success with it. Crossfit same way, but it's like a damned cult. Cat and I have discussed this before... I've had people make fun of me bc I go to the gym everyday or give you a "back handed" compliment about working out so much, fug them.
  12. Deadlifts today and didn't even hurt myself. Yay. Good solid workout. 7 sets up, 2 down and three sets sumos.
  13. I went out with some old frat bros Saturday night and after the third beer I was eating whatever I could get my hands on, lol.
  14. How is the goat? Shoulder wise I never do behind the neck presses and I never take my upper arms below parallel with the floor. Both of those things cause impingement. The shoulder joint is very delicate.
  15. I'm not sure I even have a comment on that... wtf?
  16. Flexibility isn't bad... I'm not all that flexible... Half?
  17. How do you do it, specifically the pec deck? I don't use the handles... I put the base of my hand on the outside of the handle and pull them together, touching the handles together in the middle and squeeze for a second before I continue the reps. I get both a good stretch and a good squeeze on the pec deck.
  18. Ahh, that makes a difference... I go down to where I feel a good stretch, but that's probably different for everyone. I probably go to where my upper arms are below parallel with the floor. I've never seen anyone say you shouldn't do that. The only exercise I DON'T do that is shoulder presses and there I keep my upper arms parallel with the floor and no further.
  19. How do you mean? I go down pretty much to where the bar touches my chest but don't bounce it.
