  1. Impressive... most impressive...
  2. Damn, that's a serious goal... good luck. Work hard and you can do it. I finished my latest vitapak this past weekend... started it at 215, down to 210 right now... will probably come back up some though... still been hitting the gym very hard. Trying to keep changing things up. Tweaked something in my back last week... either my lower trap or something between my ribs... was a motherfuger for a day or two last week and got better... tweaked it again this Tuesday doing squats, but not as bad this time... crap like that really aggravates me.
  3. I honestly don't see how/why people drink unsweet tea. It is nasty.
  4. PSC you are one weird motherfuger... lol
  5. What's your 4 day set? That sounds similar to what I'm doing... 1: Back 2: Chest/Abs 3: Legs/Biceps 4: Shoulders/Triceps/Abs 5: Rest or only cardio The weight will come off... esp if you're building muscle. How much cardio do you do? I've really been trying to focus on shoulders and legs. Since my rotator cuff surgery, I've had to slowly build up what I can do with shoulders, but I'm really starting to see the difference. I just simply hate doing leg day... fuging hate it... but I've been making myself stick with it.
  6. Phew, 100 straight would be tough... that's as much of a cardio workout as a strength workout... I think I could pump out 50, maybe... Two weeks ago my son and I decided to walk/run and workout at home one day and I did 200 in 10 sets of 20 in about 20 minutes combined with some ab work... pushups are a good workout. I'm pretty impressed with my son too... he's 16, about 5'10" and weighs maybe 120... he's gone from not being able to do 1 pushup to being able to do 5 sets of 10 in about 4 months...
  7. I'm still on it... skipped this weekend to go to Charlotte for the game... but otherwise in the gym 6 days a week for the past 6 months. Went Monday and pulled some poo in my back doing overhead barbell press... I think it was my lower trap or something in my ribs... hurt like someone had a knife in my back... holy crap. Much better today though, taking motrin and it's no where near as tight... it was cramping yesterday morning, and it almost made me puke it hurt so bad... I'm finishing up my latest Vitapak and I'm pretty steady at 212 lbs. Trying to do a little more cardio too... I just like lifting too much. I'd really like to get down to about 205. What is the 100 pushup challenge Inmicus?
  8. That ^ is not a picture... but it is awesome.
  9. 1500 calories for a guy your size is not much... it's no wonder you've lost 25 pounds. Supplement wise, sounds like you're on the right track... creatine won't do a whole lot for you since you're obviously already pretty big. Might give you a little strength gain, but it also causes you to retain water, so you may not want that right now. If you've only been lifting for 3 months, I would concentrate on lifts like deadlift, squat, overhead press, bench press, pull downs... lifts that utilize muscle groups and make sure your form is right. If you don't have someone knowledgeable to lift with, get a trainer to work with you for a bit, or at very least get on youtube and look at some of the various lifts for form instruction and advice. As for your gut, got to put in core work... crunches, leg lifts, planks, etc. There are a TON of resources online for this kind of stuff... For example... http://www.bodybuilding.com/exercises/finder/lookup/filter/muscle/id/13/muscle/abdominals Don't forget your back too... a lot of people focus on their abs and neglect their lower back muscles, that is a mistake. Also get into cardio... lifting and doing ab work is great but you need to walk/run/stairclimb etc to get your heart rate up... I personally like to do cardio after I lift as it helps me be less sore, but the more you get into working out, I would switch it up so your body doesn't get used to it. I was very fortunate in that I had good coaches in HS that taught us weight training and I lifted for about 3 years in the late 90's with a guy that was a certified personal trainer and he showed me a lot.
  10. NIce Inmicus... idk about the blonde 88, she looks a little skanky to me... way too done up. I've been doing REALLY good about drinking water and nothing else, no sodas, sweet tea, etc. I'm also back on another month cycle of Ripped Vitapak... I lost about 6 pounds on that the first time two months ago... I'm already down one now after 4 days to 214. I'd love to get below 210 and stay there and not lose any muscle and/or gain a little. It feels really good to be able to go in the gym and do whatever you want... I can rip off sets of pull-ups now 8-10 at a time... I benched 225 on my third set the other week and stopped at 12 reps, pretty sure I can get 16 or 17 reps easily now if I want to. Gotten back into squats too... nothing outrageous yet, but I can do 275 for 10 reps easily, just haven't pushed it too far yet... Not too shabby for an old guy with a bionic shoulder...
  11. So how are you guys doing? SagaciousPanther, you started yet??? I've been doing well... addicted to the gym really... My 16yo has really gotten into it too... he's meeting me at the gym most days, and like yesterday we stayed home, ran 2 miles and did 200 pushups and abs... never done 200 pushups in one workout... I'm sore in new places today.
  12. I know, I was being lazy and hoping one of you well traveled fellows would know off hand...
  13. Would very much like to know where this is...
