I took two motrins at lunch and it feels better.. I'm sure I'll end up deadlifting anyway... I've got to where I love it... I want to push it... I've gotten 420 3X on the last set the last two times I deadlifted... I want to go up but I've been chicken so far. Sounds like a nerve problem... maybe something in your neck pinched from that offset load? Go to the chiropractor. I always carried my boys in my left arm because I'm right handed and needed it for keys, etc.... my left arm has been slightly stronger ever since.

I'm supposed to do deadlifts today (that was the plan anyway) and my back is tweaking... I bent over to tie my shoe this morning and it started hurting... dammit.

Golf is the plan at this point bc I have my mom's family christmas part that afternoon... Shoulders today... Deadlifts tomorrow... Back Sunday morning?

I actually spoke to her a bit yesterday, esp now that we're on a first name basis... if she's in there next time you are, I will... you have to talk to her though... no drooling or incoherent babble.

There's probably about 15 or so women in our gym that are really serious into fitness... and probably another half dozen or so that compete in fitness/bodybuilding.

I quote Cat on this b/c her Tinderbox post about lusting made me think about it... So... last Friday, I'm in the gym working out with a friend. We're doing some cable flies over in the corner and it's near the squat rack. There's a girl on the squat rack I see in the gym like everyday.... young, maybe 25ish... she usually works out with her bf who seems to be an amateur bodybuilder. I've never really talked to either of them other than like "hi" as we walk by or whatever just because I see them all the time... about this girl... she's probably the most beautiful woman I've ever seen in person. Joscott knows... I mean drop dead gorgeous, and seems really sweet to boot. So it's Friday, there's like 5 people in the whole gym, it's quiet... I finish my set and I had obviously noticed her squatting, but as per usual tried not to stare (it's hard not to)... and she walks over to me... and says... "Hi, I see you in here all the time, and I don't know anyone else today, can you spot me on this last set and just help me get the bar back on the rack?" Obviously I agree (duh) and go to spot her... so OF COURSE as she's about halfway thru her set... lo and behold, who walks in??? My wife... She comes over and taps me on the shoulder to say hello... as I'm spotting literally the hottest woman in Wilmington... lol So she finishes up... I help her put the bar up and she thanks me... my buddy gives me this look and says "wow, that must've been tough... " I just laugh... So a few minutes later, I see the girl over talking to my wife... alarm bells start going off... uh oh, I'm in trouble now... After she leaves I go ask my wife what she said and she had told her that she was sorry, she knew I was married, but she didn't know anybody else in the gym that day... that she wasn't "that kind of girl"... my wife said she was really sweet about it... phew... which is actually probably a good thing because I'm sure I would have heard about it later... lol tl;dr Biscuit helped a really hot chick in the gym and his wife walked in right then... totally worth it. Also to Joscott... I talked to her and you didn't... Ha Ha.
