Darnold is getting pressured up the middle. No way to judge him without a semi-clean pocket. Oline play has been atrocious. -
Matt Rhule on Jaycee Horn - Why he is the best fit
Fenrir replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
All depends on Darnold. Front office thinks he’s better than Fields apparently. We shall see… -
As a Tennessee fan, I've also got to include Jalen Hurd, as I think he'll leave early. He's even bigger than Henry (6'4 240) and had 1300 yards last season in split duties with Alvin Kamara, who I also think leaves early, and will be a good change of pace guy in the NFL. As for D. Henry, I don't like the first round selection on him, but I trust Gettleman's evaluations 100%. His picks have been stellar thus far during his run as GM.

Official Panthers - Seahawks Gameday Thread
Fenrir replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
This team needs Safety and WR help. It simply has to be addressed, or we won't be taking the next step to deep playoff runs. -
Could be a good move. At the very least, a great veteran presence for guys like Ealy and Addison. They can learn a lot from someone like Allen.

Great photos, Jeremy. Kelvin looks like he is going to take the next step this season. Bodes very well for us.

More Hornets content would be fantastic.

Wow, that was good analysis. Something I'm not quite used to at ESPN anymore... -
Carolina Panthers donate to victims of Charleston shooting

The Big Cat shows his class. Kudos to the Panthers and Mr. Richardson for this and for the people of Charleston coming together in the wake of this tragedy. Makes me proud to be a Carolinian.- 61 replies

That along with Corey (don't call me Philly) Brown developing and playing the slot... Damn it, I can't help it, I'm all aboard the hype train mother fugers.
-
Wouldn't that be something if Funch eventually becomes the #1 and Kelvin the #2? One of the best duos in the league if that's the case.

Anyone worried about coaching decisions in 2015?
Fenrir replied to Hotsauce's topic in Carolina Panthers
Offensive play-calling has been an issue since Shula arrived. Say what you'd like about Chud's HC stint, but he was a great OC here and truly knew how to get the most out of Cam and the rest of the offense. Shula lacks that creativity and the offense goes to poo once we're in the redzone. -
As a Tennessee fan, I cannot believe Matt Simms made it to the NFL and stuck around. He was absolutely terrible during his time in Knoxville.

Carolina Panthers Trade Up Select Oklahoma's Daryl Williams
Fenrir replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
Like the pick. We're riding Oher on the left side going into the season, for better or worse. -
Dimitroff is a moron. He should have been gone way before Mike Smith was let go. Not complaining, though.

More productive in college than Philly, Ginn, or Hill. His hands are better than average, the only knock I see is his route running, but it's a good thing we have one of the better WR coaches in the league to fix that issue...
-
This kid had more yards, receptions, and TDs than both Ginn and Hill in their senior seasons and has better hands than either of them.
-
And to echo other folks' sentiments, if Ray was there at 25, I believe Gettleman would take him. Definitely BPA and a pass rusher (we know Getts stance on those guys).
-
That sounds oddly familiar. Oh yeah, it's how most people described Benji before we drafted him. Kid is a deep threat and we sorely need that right now.
