Really like the potential I'm seeing from Coker. And if XL can clean up his drops, he will be a big time player as well. WR is still a need, but I'd take a mid round flyer and focus on defense early. Unless we trade back later in the first. At that point, Luther Burden is pretty tempting.

Darin Gantt notices a very good sign in the lockeroom

Good to read. Now, let’s stockpile some talent and make some noise over the next few years. -
I never said he was Adrian Peterson. But he's in a professional league now with physicians that excel at repairing this injury type due to its frequency. People acting like this injury is automatically a career ending injury haven't paid attention to this surgery/procedure over the last decade...

Feel horrible for the kid. I'm hoping someone in the organization gets him in touch with TD. There is light at the end of the tunnel, he'll just need to attack his rehab. Reminder to all that Adrian Peterson tore his ACL/MCL and came back with one of the best rushing seasons in NFL history.

Always draft at least one Oline man in the draft.

Agree 100%. While the line has been solid this year, it never hurts to add depth/talent. Also Moton is no longer a spring chicken and it would be nice to have someone learning under him to shore up that side when he hangs it up or isn't re-signed one day. -
Just finished the video. He was complimentary of Bryce but pointed out where he needs improvement. You guessed it, it's his footwork. He isn't planting his cleats to get power out of the rotation in his motion, but continues to have throws where he's on his toes and generating power only from the arm. That said, there were a couple of throws in the film where he had good mechanics and delivered strikes, so it looks like the staff is continuing to emphasize that. Also mentioned how Bryce adding the ability to extend plays is another reason for the turnaround. Positive signs continue from #9 over the last few weeks. As far as the receivers, and I agree here, still too many dropped balls and routes are not crisp. Moore is a JAG and should be allowed to walk once Coker is back in the lineup. XL is still a big work in progress in the route running department. I think we have to address WR in the draft again this offseason...

Need pass rush and to get more ass on the inside for sure. Also would like some LBs with some speed. In short, we need to draft heavy on the defensive side.

Sanders was moving his legs and arms. Hoping it’s precautionary.

Chiefs are stout against the run, but we have to be able to run the ball if we want to have a chance in this game.

I’m here and it’s 70-30 Chiefs fans. Never seen it this bad.

Walker is a pass rusher with freaky athleticism and upside. This ain't a Hurney prospect ILB.

This, 100%. We are talent deficient everywhere. We are not a QB away, yet people want us drafting like we are. We are going to run into the same situation as Bryce where we throw a kid to the wolves. This offense is far from a finished product. I'd like to see us add another receiver and continue the development of XL and Coker. We need a new center (Corbett's health isn't reliable enough). We also need competition at the tackle spots and additional depth at guard. And as far as the Defense is concerned, they are extremely mediocre and we need help everywhere, particularly on the defensive front. Let's address these holes, let Bryce continue to play out his rookie deal, and see where we are in 2026. I also wouldn't mind taking a late round flyer on one of the Will Howard/Kyle McCord's of the world to see if we can find a diamond in the rough. I doubt it, but spending a pick that late and it not hitting is far less detrimental than an early miss.

I'll say it again for those in the back: TANKING IS NOT A LEGITIMATE WINNING STRATEGY AND DOESN'T GUARANTEE DRAFT SUCCESS. IT ALSO COSTS GMs AND COACHES THEIR JOBS AND THEY LIKE GETTING PAID MILLIONS PER YEAR.

Ewers melts down against competent defenses. Shadeur plays nobodies and has average arm strength and Ward takes insane gambles with the football. Out of the three, I’d probably go with Shadeur, but daddy ain’t letting him come here. He’ll pull the Eli bull****.
-
For those who want us to tank: Who in this draft has franchise QB tendencies and skills that will translate to the next level? I honestly don’t see a single player with franchise QB characteristics. I’m still not sold on Bryce long term, but we have needs all over in order to set the next young QB up for success.

Needed a play and Bryce made it.

Now that was a bad throw.

Our Dline without D Brown is an abomination. Tuttle was manhandled.

Listen I’m not a Bryce apologist by any means. But Mays was walked back into his lap and Coker should have caught that. Some of you are just hating at this point haha

This is the right outlook. He's going to be rusty and out of football shape. It will require a few weeks minimum for him to get back up to speed. Also, TWSS
