  1. Two things can be true at the same time. - He is playing better - He is a below average QB
  2. We sure do like to pay our running backs! It has rarely worked out, except for a few of J-Stews second contract years. At least its only basically a two year deal if they want to dump him. Now we will have spent a 2nd rounder that comes in 3rd down and certain packages. Would have been a lot nicer if we spent a 2nd on a defensive lineman instead of someone that will get 12-15 snaps a game.
  3. If this was Teddy / Sam / Baker this place would have been: "we won despite the mediocre QB play, he will never lead us to the promise land". Statwise, he wasn't even mediocre (he just didn't look terrible). For week 9 (and these don't include tonights game so he will likely be be bumped down two spots in each category) QB Rating 24th Yards 23rd TD 18th Completions 24th
  4. CMPD has released details of the other car that hit Dalton: 23yr old male, 5'8" - 180lbs - noodle arm
  5. Yeah I heard Tepper told Baker to throw at the linemans head every other play so he could be in position to draft Bryce.
  6. Kalil won't get in with just two All-Pro's and no rings, but he will likely make a couple rounds of 50, maybe a round of 25. Non-skill guys need to rack up the All-Pro's to get much hall of fame consideration.
  7. Jerry Jones wealth is almost completely tied to the Cowboys (9bil). But the Bengals guy is only worth <1bil even with a majority stake in the team (valued at 4bil)? Other reports (Forbes) show his net worth at 2.1b in 2022.
  8. I doubt Kannapolis has a billion plus laying around to fund a stadium and Kannapolis is more conservative politically too, so good luck adding new taxes to pay for it. This "rumor" is likely nothing more than made up for clicks. Kannapolis city budget was $125m vs $4.1b for Charlotte. They just don't have the means to come up with that type of coin in a town of 55k people to entice a new stadium. A suburb like Santa Clara has a county budget of $10b and a city budget of $1.7b (which combined is twice Meck/CLT) which is why some of these suburbs can lure a team with new stadium money. Arlington, TX has a population of 400k. We don't have anything around here like that.
  9. This was already a negotiated deal with the city. Why do people think this is just some off the wall proposal Tepper threw out without anyone knowing about it? "City Mandated Projects" - This is directly from the City of Charlotte's presentation of the deal. This has all been negotiated before any details were ever presented to the public. They might try to renegotiate more after "public input" but the deal that was presented was a product of their negotiations.
  10. Lots of players can catch a football. This team needs dynamic play makers (every good team has one or more) not someone who can catch a ball and fall down (we already have Olson for that). I have no problem if he makes the squad as a 5th-6th receiver but we have GOT to get better options on the field. As a backup that rarely sees the field or plays special teams, fine.
  11. You can introduce yourself now as "Kroeger with an OE".
  12. I think it was a "mutual parting of ways". So in other word, yes. These guys have contracts and I assume they told him they wouldn't be renewing his contract and was free to start looking for work.
  13. It is all posturing for more money. Of course you are going to say you want to be a Brown. Get an offer, then hope Panthers beat it. No one goes to Cleveland unless it is their last opportunity.
