Never mind

Say what you want about Morgan/Canales, but they know what they want and making it happen.

This screams that Tepper is on his ass and he's gonna go down with the ship. Another sign (in my mind at least) that Reich is heading towards one and done unless the Miracle on 34th Street happens and he gets some big wins and real progress on tape.
-
I don't think its much different tbh. This team is bad top to bottom.
-
If there was ever a case of "we need to fire a coach after 1 year", its this one. I don't think anyone would even raise hell about it.
-
Wouldn't be surprised if he "retires" at the end of the year if he makes it there.
-
This team is just flat out bad. Get Reich and Fitt outta here.
-
Seriously, do y'all want a positive vibes only thread?

I think it wouldn't be bad. It gets tiresome reading all the bashing and shots people take that derail threads that do start with good discussion. -
Reich needs to give up the play calling duties ASAP. He wont be long for this job if he doesn't, because this ain't it lol.
-
Fitty out here cooking with the deals. Not mad at any signing I've seen so far.
-
Reich/Fangio is the dream scenario at this point considering whats on the table.

I disagree...if Payton comes, Derek Carr will not be far behind. Payton would come here because he is trying to win now and not build slowly.
-
Well...Payton after everything would be the craziest outcome from this whole situation. If its true that the 2024 1st is in play and he's hired, then there is no way there are trading up for a QB this year. Are they thinking of going after Carr/vet FA with Payton as the HC/OC?

So which QB do we think will be available at #9?

So if Stroud decides to pull a Luck and go back, do we even want to trade up for a QB? -
Wasn't a surprise. TCU was lucky all year. I would definitely poach some of these draft eligible defensive players from Georgia though. I know everyone hated watching Georgia-Alabama in championship games, but it was way better than what this is. Georgia might score 70 tonight.

Not saying that we can’t discuss it. I’m saying that we don’t even know what the direction of this team will be would be yet, so I was phrasing the question what if the new coach doesn’t want a QB in this draft?
-
None of this pick talk matters until we get the coach hire. There are scenarios where a coach may not value any of these QB’s in the draft. What happens then? Will you be upset if someone like Steichen or Johnson (or whoever) says I want a veteran and will use the draft capital elsewhere?

I’ve given up the tank already after seeing the team under Wilks. That schedule is too easy for us to not win at least 3-4 more games.
-
Almost all the QB’s I listed have a win percentage under .500 (which is why I look at them as busts, they weren’t franchise guys). The best win percentage was Trubisky of those QB’s and he’s barely over. Wentz could’ve been but the injury ruined him. Those QB’s were can’t miss, most pro ready for the most part QB’s that teams tanked for that didn’t elevate the franchises that they were with.

Same can be said for top 10 QB’s (not throwing shade, I want a QB too lol) like Russell, Locker, Rosen, Mayfield, Darnold, Leinart, Gabbert, Carr, Harrington, RGIII (injuries did him in), Bortles, Trubisky, Leftwich, Mariota, Winston, Young, Bradford, Sanchez, and Wentz. It’s going to coming down to scouting and finding the right guy. Draft position can always be fixed.
