  1. Bro they're editors. I've not watched Hard Knocks ever nor the last preseason game but editing things to look more dramatic and/or heroic and to make someone look worse is editing for tv 101.
  2. I think it's because of how poorly The Blindside itself has aged. Like yeah any "Based on a True Story" story is rightfully gonna have added drama, but Blinside really turned it up to an 11 to be in consideration for an Oscar and now it feels super tacky.
  3. Even when healthy he's never been consistent at finishing iirc
  4. Oh poo he cooked THE Mark Robinson (5'11, 4.65 40) in 1-on-1 coverage with no safety help over the top? Canton!
  5. Man I know it's september but todays TC makes me want to mock the best available OT to us in the 2nd round in every mock from here on lol. We need depth BAD.
  6. Say Bryce has to miss a game or two and we're smth like 7-5, who you trusting Dalton or Corral?
  7. I don't think we have another Mike besides Shaq and even then that's not his best fit, good stop gap or at worst camp body.
  8. You're telling me you don't miss the excitement of Byron Bell vs Nate Chandler?
  9. Serious question, Huddle: Who's worse Patrica or Rhule?
  10. Nah that's false All 4 of his full seasons in Indy (i'm too lazy to check last year), he had a Bellcow HB taking over 60% of the carries, capped off by the 19 and 20 seasons having Johnathan Taylor taking 292 and 392 carries respectively. If Sanders is mid then yeah, we'll probably have a by committee but I expect us to run Sanders like 80% of the snaps and him to do fine at it. I'd say he's a steal at his current ADP.
  11. I agree with this but at the same time who else is earning that money right now on our roster? DB? Horn? What are we saving the money for? I expect it to be a lot, probably Top 3-5 Edge money. But we're not really paying anyone, so whatever. As long as he plays to par what he's been we can move him still, but at worse we have an out in like 3 years by the time it comes to evaluate what we're gonna pay Bryce. That said the team has surprised me with contracts like Moore's. I'm not holding my breath but unless we're paying him what the Bosas are expecting to get I'm personally gonna feel pretty neutral to the move.
  12. Star Lotulelei leaves via free agency "Why our run defense bad??" (that said he rly went downhill after that first contract so glad it wasnt our problem)
  13. Okay. Three words: Could be better. Question: What does constantly bringing up his weakness against the run really add? What breaking football analysis is this? That's that's literally the reason the Bears traded Greg bro Describe Greg Olsen in one word in pass pro.
  14. Just because it's stale doesn't mean it doesn't have legs. It's a case by case thing. Most posters on the Huddle do Undervalue Burns. Saying he's just a pass rusher, devalue how he gets some of his sacks, put his ability to handle the run under a microscope, and treat him like he's just Bruce Irvin when it comes to his ability to rush the passer and affect the play (i.e. "oh he doesn't have any big 3rd down sacks"). Frankly it's quite tiring. All because we didn't trade him for two first round picks. Yes it's in every fan base, and will be until the end of time. That doesn't mean every case of claim of "doesn't appreciate" hold the same weight.
  15. Crazy thing is we can still get a first for him down the road. He's 25. He has high character marks. If he doesn't fit our timeline there will absolutely be a market for him.
  16. Frankie lines up at edge and Mike, primarily more the latter as the season went on. Quite a few of his sacks came from blitzing thru the middle. You're spot on, I just want to emphasize how bad our edge rush is not named Brian Burns.
  17. Seriously. It's like not paying Nnamdi because he can line up on one side or Richard because he can only play zone. Except this is a pass rusher -- way more valuable. Yeah he's iffy against the run (not as much of a liability as the huddle makes him out to be, he knows his run fits) and he struggles sometimes when doubled, both points I know will be brought up during negotiations. He still wins most of his 1 on 1s fairly quickly and still is in his athletic prime. But nah let's use one of those two first to maybe get a Brian Burns.
  18. poo he's still technically doing this for free rn i was a stroud truther but goddamn, i cannot deny the swag of this pick
  19. I don't expect any one target to break 1k this season, but I'm hoping TMJ is the leader in receiving but expecting it to be Chark
  20. Woah. Wild take there. Thelien isn't gonna put up 1k yards? This guy's crazy! We could have prime Julio, and his numbers would still drop. He's 33. He's much more for the locker room and to become a security blanket for our rookie QB than a game breaker.
  21. And that's why it's a big deal he can maybe learn the whole playbook? Understanding what his offense can do is how u beat defenses. Are u bitching to bitch?
  22. What does who he's playing against go with how he understands concepts?
  23. What does that last part mean? Both Burns and Reddick are "speed" rushers
  24. Lbr the only reason people vehemently dislike him is becauae of the Rhule's wife story. He's been just as solid, if not better than names like Mike Godsoon and Cameron Artis Payne. He's not a plodder and he seems to understands run gaps well. Probably not a 2nd contract guy but you can do a LOT worse from a backup than Chuba.
