  1. Someone said in the pck tread that we pla re nickel than anythng. 4-3 situations - OLB Nickel Situations - S/Nickel Cover guy He'll be on the field and lot and he's going to be ou cover guy. Can keep up with TEs better than anyone else our defense.
  2. You've been saying third string linebacker. When Ron said third linebacker You know, next to the other two. Glad we didn't take Perriman and his fuged up hairline.
  3. Man too bad this is our only pick in a draft our GM said is deep at WR and OT Wait Wait we have 8 more picks?
  4. Personally? Dorsett. Not convinced he's an outside guy just because he's fast in the NFL. He's not the prospect Cooks was. He's definitely more of a straight line guy. I wouldn't be angry, but I would like him very much til see him preform on the field.
  5. Stefon Diggs pleasegodletusdrathim
  6. He's not gonna be a first. Definitely a second though. Never gonna be a panther.
  7. I can't wait til McFadden inevitably gets hurt so they have no semblance of a running game and all the pressure is on Good Ol Tony again I super just cannot wait
  8. You're not wrong, but that doesn't really impact the "Conley was a victim of a run first offense" argument as much as you think it does. Georgia ran the ball about 63 percent of the time in 2014, compared to 51 in 2013, and 56 in 2012. Much more of a balanced offense. But, Conley had about as many yards in 2014 as he did in 13 (657 in 2014, 651 in 2013) with 9 less catches (36 in 2014, 45 in 2013) despite the 12% jump in running attempts in 2014, he was on pace to do much better than he did in all of 2013. Also consider the fact the jump in 2013 from 2012 (20, 342) after King left and 5% more passing attempts. One could make the argument that if Georgia was as balanced as in 2013, Conley could've improved just as much as he did from 12 to 13. i still stand by what I said about Conley, but I admit it was just one game and I don't know everything about him. He's just hella raw, and I wouldn't feel comfortable taking him on days 1 or 2.
  9. ah yes no better The Golden Calf of Bristol than The Golden Calf of Bristol after he's been away for two years
  10. Your argument is that Agholor wouldn't get more tan 400-600 yards because we don't use our #3 WR a lot. Which is what I argued. But you're right, Ginn and Agholor wouldn't be running the same routes because, most likely if we draft a reciver in the top 2 or 3 rounds, they'll be competing for the #2 spot. Not the number 3. That includes Agholor. Ginn is not our #2. Hell he's probably going to have to compete for the #3 with Philly. Ginn is just three things here A familiar target for cam, a deep threat and most importantly, our returner. 3 year 7.9 million is about average for #2 TE, especially when you're trying t keep familiar targets around your franchise QB. Yes we'll b using mre two TE sets, but that won't eliminate 3-4 wide sets. And Agholor is not a below average blocker. He's a very solid one, though sometimes overpowered. Something that adding more strength would fix. It wouldn't eliminate anything because he's just as good as Philly and Ginn, if not better than them at it. So no, he and Ginn's situations aren't the same. Agholor would be ahead of Ginn on the depth chart. But you completely missed the point of my post saying that Agholor would thrive here as a #3 just lke Ginn did. Because Believe it or not, Agholor has the speed to take the top off of a defense, specially from the #3/Slot role, just like Philly did late in the season.
  11. So i watched Conley's best game (And the only available game from 2014) and I can see why he had a 5th round grade on him. He's not ready to play in the NFL. Te comparisons to Coates are ridiculous. Coates is a much better prospect. First off, I watched only one game for both Coates and Conley, both only had one from 2014 available. So I can't say a lot for either. But looking at Conley's statline, I'm not sure what all there is to see. He had only three other games over 50 yards, and only 2 other games with 4 catches or more. i'd like to see how he'd adjust to balls, and what he did against other comeptition, but at 5 catches, 128 and a td, this was the best display of his skill set at WR. First the good. He has very good acceleration, he has the ability to blow past DBs before they get a chance to redirect him or try to press him. is acceleration allows him to run quick, crisp routes which he showed off a few times against Ark. One he sat down on a route, then quckly turned and accelerated past the saftey who came down to get himself open for a big gain. He also has the ability to find himself the soft spot in the zone. Once, he was wide open on a route into the endzone, and the QB just didn't see him. i feel like he has upside but... He doesn't play up to his size or his 40 time. He's not very strong and it showed as he was redirected off of his routes a few times, and once just out powered by an Arkansas DB. Not once did I see him run that 4.35 speed and just completely take the top off a defense. On top of that, his agility and ability to get YAC seemed limited. Overal, Conley seems overhyped. The athletic talent is there, but he's going to be a project, honestly. As for Coates, I watched him against LSU and while he only had 4 catches, I can see why there's hype behind this guy. Coates is very physical, and plays every bit of the 6'2 he is. He can fight through contact and get off te line against physical DBs. On top of that, his mix of strength and speed allow him to be useful on any part of the field, short throws, deep balls, middle of the field, redzone. He's a very physically gifted WR. His YAC ability is impressive as well. He showed the ablity to fight through tackles and make moves to get more yards, and it was very impressive. i think my favorite thing about him is he boxes out DBs so well. Two of his big catches he used his body to shield off the DB and make the catch over them. Think of a WR with LaFell's body, but he atually uses his size to his advantage. Amazing. My biggest concerns are not unlike those of the ones I had with KB. Drops and route running. Against LSU, Coates had a perectly catchable ball just sail right through his hands, and apparently, he had a drop rate of 19.1 percent. Holy poo. Against LSU, I only saw him run somethng other than a straight vertical route once. Both of them I'd rather stay away from them first two rounds. But i'd take Caotes of Conley in literally any other round just because I think Coates gives you an instant impact at WR, with just as high of skill ceiling.
  12. You know what, this is a pretty interesting argument. I think i'll study up on both Coates and Conley as much as I can and provide a proper analysis.
  13. Because I'm not stupid and I know that him "dissapearing" at times is not because of his lack of ability and because of the offensive scheme he's in.
  14. Hi I've watched games of Agholor. While sometimes he ot blown up blocking but he's very active and aware and reay to contribute Some games he was solid and other games you'd jatch him get demolished Nothing building more strength won't fix He's far from terrible.
  15. Didn't/haven't watched Coates and don't lan to, but uh Auburn is extremely run heavy. I wouldn't be mad with him at the bottom of the second. Talent is there from what little I've seen of him and he has the potential to dominate. Ya'll funny you love Conley and make the run heavy offense excuse for m but then blast Coates for it.
  16. Agholor is the better route runner, but Lee is the better athlete. Agholor is more complete than Lee is coming out, but Lee will probably be better if he gets coached right.
  17. Lmao Avant was the #3 WR on our team for most of the season, not Philly. Philly wasn't the number 3 until late. And, Tedd Ginn was our #3 our 12-4 season and 36 catches, 556 yards, 5tds, and he could've had even more if e didn't drop a handful of big plays. But uh, yeah, sure, Agholor would only get 400-600 yards bcause we wouldn't use him. Right.
  18. Where are you hearing scouts have him rated hihger? Not even trying to be funny but like this literally came out of nowhere
  19. Bro what? Strong has been high ever since last season, he could've come out and been a 2nd round pick. He's always been a late first round-early second pick. He's never jst been a combine guy No one has ever compared him to Megatron, or even fuging close. To say that Agholor is higher on draftboards would be like saying for sure Strong is higher on draftboards becauseI like him more. There's a chance he could be a lot like Ja'Wuan James, but he's probably accurately around the area of strong, late first, early second. No one would be surprised by that.
  20. I'll do you one better Cooper - Rams, top 10 White - Dolphins, top 10 (Trade up) Parker - Vikings, 1st Breshard Perriman - Patriots, 1st Jaelen Strong - Panthers, 1st Devin Smith - Ravens, 2nd(trade up) Nelson Agholor - Browns, 2nd Phillip Dorsett - Raiders, 2nd Dorial Green-Beckham - Jets, 2nd Sammie Coates - Titans, 3rd Justin Hardy - Chiefs, 4th Chris Conley - Saints, 5th
