  1. The fact that he can contribute as a blocker instantly is what makes me hype about this. Compare this to Ian Thomas, who had to get more polished as a receiver AND as a as a blocker. There's a HUGE chance Tremble becomes a JAG at receiver to outright bad, but if his blocking pans out we have the receiving core where we wouldn't need him to be more than the 5th option At Best.
  2. Campbell is actually a very quality reporter it's a shame he's still stuck on WF
  3. DJax will probably play outside. He ended off the season really hot outside and does pretty well against WRs that match his height weight combo. I have no idea what we're gonna do at SS but out of all positions to be completely lost at SS is probably the least damning. Can see us bringing in a veteran LT or watching cuts closely for competition. Maybe even a trade. Losing Teddy means we lost any semblance of a competent backup and that worries me. Not the worst group of problems to have tbh
  4. Oh hey this is a great pick up. He improved a LOT in 2020 and thought he could've been taken a round or two higher. He was loved on the USC campus and his work ethic was highly praised. Can be a return guy this year and develop into our slot guy as early as next year. What the fug this draft has been great.
  5. Risks are fun and all but when you're a team lacking talent in several areas you don't really have the room to take risks. Love this draft so far. Depth to wrap up day 3 with a dice roll or two on some fallers would be muy buenom
  6. One thing we've sorely, sorely lacked is a jump ball guy. We've had no such luck in the redzone since Greg left too. D.J. is amazing but he's notna contested catch vs man kind of guy. He still struggles with press too. Marshall has a high floor that I think js comparable to Moose and a ceiling that can be Michael Thomas with more rac ability. Which is an ability both D.J. and Robby lacked.
  7. JOK, Teven Jenkins and Moore all would be solid additions. I like Grant too though I'm not sure he's a strong side saftey.
  8. Horn tbh and I got my wish. I can't understate how talented I think Horn is There has to be a reason people were passing on Fields. And we'll learn. He's a Bear now. They have their path, we have ours. At the end of the day 31 other teams look stupid to fans at large while one looks like a genius. There's no sure fire way. Trust your gut, go from there. Stop getting upset about what you can't control.
  9. It's not even them being GMs they just want to seem smart and die on any hill instead of looking at the bigger fugin picture. I'm stoked for Horn, one of my Favorite DBs in a looong time, but if we didn't draft him and, say, drafted Paraons I'd STILL retain the ability to see the bigger picture.
  10. But but but I watched a YouTube highlight video AND read an ESPN article that told me what to think!!! Rhule can't know more than me.
  11. Y'all know it's cheaper to trade to 11 than it is to 8 right
  12. Man it most hurt to be both this cynical snd this self assured.
  13. Sacksonville in...17 or 18 whichever year that was. Jalen Ramsey was the anchor that made it that much easier for that pass rush to hit. Their fallout was not on him.
  14. fuging love this pick. If you say he uses his hands too much watch literally any Pro Bowl press man DB in the NFL. Dude is a machine. Loves competition anf constantly got better. He wasn't making it past Dallas.
  15. I mean before they got Jimmy G, Lynch asked about TB12. Doesn't hurt to see if they couldn't sell the farm for Rodgers. Him and the Packers are going through some commitment issues. This had nothing to do with them not liking the QBs in this draft and Rodgers being the amoung the best QBs in the league.
  16. Parsons. I strongly think he is the mkst overrated prospect in the 1st.
  17. Again, don't disagree. But there's also a great consensus that the draft gets weaker and weaker at a lot of positions after the top 12~ players. I wouldn't take him -- say Horn and Surtain are both gone, I'd take Newsome and Kelvin Joseph (pending a character check) if I were the Panthers GM over Farley even without the injury concerns -- but if he's high on someones draft board they may not see much of a risk of Farley over some other guy.
  18. I honestly think that Greg Newsome is a better corner anyway and he's gaining a LOT of steam. I think he's a bigger threat for Farely falling to the 2nd over his back. That's just my take anyway. Farley is enticing but the injury concerns and him being more raw than Surtain, Horn and Newsome and Kelvin Joseph make him my CB5.
  19. Not any one particular link. Just what I've heard from draft circles. I'm like the 9th link in the chain at best, so I'll admit it's not 100% a given.
  20. I mean I agree. I'm not saying I'd be stoked if we take him. But how many times have we seen NFL talent evaluators take the risk on athleticism and talent. His biggest concern is his back. That's getting a medical clear from what I hear. He's likely gonna be a first.
  21. Thanks Kratos997 I mean I'd love the pick but uh
  22. Parsons. Very raw. Much better LBs in the draft. Also Horn and Surtain both use their hands very, very well for press man corners. Watch CBs like Ramsey and Ward. Might get some flags but they're gonna make the guy they're lined up against work for 60 minutes. Espcially Horn. Love him.
