I've been harsh on D.J. but like P.J. Walker is our best QB. Its hard for me to be hard on anyone not name Shi Smith on offense tbh

The LA Rams are 3-7…. We had their second round pick this year

Sure, there's plenty of players ALL OVER history from plenty of rounds with better stats than Burns. -

man i though you were gonna at least be interesting and bring up current sack leaders Za'Darius Smith and Matt Judon -- but nah you went with the guy Brian Burns is ahead of in sacks this year and also the ONE guy i said don't mention lol E: Less sacks AND on a team with a worse record. In fact he's on a team that traded away their premier pass rusher (Mack > Burns and it's not even close) for picks! -

This place is absolutely insufferable. Half of the posters who are complaining abt these picks aren't even in the scouting scene, let alone can barely tell you the players coming out THIS year let alone players two fuging drafts from now but will insist that two MYSTERY PLAYERS are better than our edge rusher because they COULD be top 10 picks. -
List em'. List the 'numerous' picks -- outside of known assets like Max Crosby -- that have put up 32.5 sacks in the 3 years and change that Brian Burns has as an Edge rusher. Flukey sacks, Flash in the pan player, whatever. Show me the players in the league right now that have done that and they're 2nd, 3rd and 4th round players.

Smarter than your dense ass Pass rush doesn't grow on trees, s'way harder to replace 7-9 sacks than it is to find it. On top of that I've yet to see a team really turn the corner recently for having two first round picks. Jags sure as poo didn't do anything with the picks they gave up Ramsey for. fug we got the Corner they tried to replace him with.

Wow youre really good at putting words and peoples mouths and thinking you know their arugment. I have not once said Brian Burns is an elite edge rusher, I've not even said he's good against the run. I've said he's a good Edge. He's a good pass rusher. He can be better, absolutely, but he's a good pass rusher not unlike players like Preston Smith, Shaq Barret and Reddick. A tier below players like Healthy Bosas, Miller, Mack etc. He's a good pass rusher. He's fine on this team. He makes things easier for the rest of our d-line and hopefully we can find pass rushers than make things easier for him. OR get this-- we can still trade him in the future!!

We aren't but we aren't much farther away either. More than "just a qb away" but it's more like "a cohesive offensive gameplan away." idk why everyone acts like it's some mystery why we're bad when it's been the same problem for 2 years now. Excessively bad offense headed by terrible QB play.

You can say over rated (An argument I've had abt Moore on our offense) without jumping to the COMPLETE other side of the fence and saying he's a nonfactor.
-
If you wanna keep being joyless over two (Two) frst round picks be my guest. We both know you would've hated those players anway because you refuse to enjoy anything.
-
This is a really shitty take lmao but that's reactionary huddle for you.

No I mean he had a sack. Look around the league it's not all that uncommon w/ sacks. They're a flukey fugin stat if you're just gonna look at a total and say MMMMMMMMMMMMM BIG NUMBER = GOOD PLAYER Brain Burns is a good pass rusher.
-
That's uh not as uncommon as you think. In fact if you have more than one penalty in a game most players are gonna have more pnealty than sacks. Burns had a sack this game. Our defense was fine. What's your point here?

Anthony Richardson is way worse at throwing a football than either Lamar or Justin coming out, and to expect him to be able to run even the offense they run took a while for them to run well in the NFL. NFL defenses are already gearing up to defend that trend of QBs and idk why you think they wouldn't key in on stopping him from running the best they could and defend the pass. I get saying Richardson > Levis because yea, Levis is giving me Hackenberg vibes but I would not be estatic with Richardson when there's. Way more interesting prospects even if you wanna wait til R2 ala Bengals.

I'm not rly gonna believe a take from Tyler Polumbus but it makes Russ look silly so i'll accept it.
-
I think if some how, some way we force them to pass, we can win. I think we have the ability to contain well going entirely off of we haven't gotten burned by scrambling QBs, but then again the only dynamic runner we've played recently is...Kyler? so who knows. I don't know what the fug our offense can do lmao. Every week is always interesting to see how they attempt things I'll give em that. I don't see us winning.
-
huh that's weird. Why would you start at 2021 when the common rule is to give draft classes at least 3 years. whats even weirder is that the 2020 nfl draft ended up with 4 starting QBs. Why David if I didn't know any better i'd say you intentionally left out the 2020 class just to make ur poo point look like it has legs.
-
what pieces where lmao 2020 5 wins was 3 more than everyone was expecting. Then everyone's expectations went wild. Last two years our offense has been the issue. It's like we're missing a really important piece at a rly important position or smth
