Stroud has the best combination of ceiling and floor imo. But Richardson definitely has the highest upside. I hope we go Stroud but I can talk myself into Richardson pretty easily.

The better question is "Did the Bears get fair compensation for moving out of the Top 5?" That's why Poles wouldn't move from D.J. instead of a 2nd 1st. They can get what we gave them from the Colts and still leave with Carter or Anderson.

My biggest concern abt Young is the guys he gets compared to -- Russ and Murray -- are improvisers at a time where Improvisinal play is being schemed against more and more. On top of that, his arm strength is Matt Ryan tier. It's not just the height for me.

there's not liking a guy and then there's being willfully ignorant. Stroud probably runs somwhere around a low 4.6 hig 4.7 which would put him in line with someone like Mahomes. He scrambles a lot like Mahomes too. Only when he has too. Stroud can move. He's more athletic than Goff and Cousins.

U keep saying Goff but Goff was one of the best passers in the NFL last year. Goff has also made it to a Super Bowl. Why tf wouldn't we take a guy because "He's like Goff"

It's honestly hard for me to get excited for him. As sexy as his measurables are, he's still a project TE who has problem running routes and has questionable hands.

Groom him as backup, maybe you can McCarron/Minshew him.

Sure, I agree his knee is a concern. But he's a WR, not a HB. Good ones can play over 30 pretty regularly. And I emphasize good, it's not just limited to the greats. Hopkins missed only wo games last year because of injury, the other 7 due to suspension. In 2021 he had a hammy injury that cost him 3 games before tearing his MCL, missing the last 4. Even if he only plays two more years, I don't see why he's not worth at most a 4th for a team that is now WR hungry.

???? He had 717 yards (led the Cards), 64 catches on 90 targets (both 2nd on the Cards) and 3rec TDs (T-2nd on the team) in 9 games last year. Questioning his durability? Sure absolutely. Wouldn't give up more than a 4th. But there's nothing to support he's running out of gas.

As a person who thought this earlier in the season, things have changed a bit. - Falcons kept sucking. They're in the top 10 and I honestly expect them to take Bijan to round out the offense. A name like Garappolo would make them Wild Card contenders. - Saints Defense is old, but smart still. If they play competent Saints are probably serious contenders in the division (remains to be seen: MT's health, Kamar's situation and their coaching staff.) - Bucs cleared up a lot of space and still have a lot of talent on the roster. Hate to say it but so far our offseason all we've done is get worse. I'm hype as fug for our new QB, but the only pieces on that offense that will be returning are our 3rd year WRs and our O-line.

Hoping Stroud betting Young.
