If... AR drops to 9, do you take him then?
Doc Holiday replied to musicman's topic in Carolina Panthers
My whole thing on that right now is until the draft. Everyone is lying, everyone. So I don’t think we can put much weight in anything for a while. -

Hendon Hooker will not last till the second round. and will probably go ahead of Richardson -
This right here, Lamar the Passer isn’t that good. And I’ve never been that impressed with the few games I’ve seen from him. I know Cams stats weren’t as good as Lamar’s, but Cam in his prime was a better overall player than Lamar has been imo. Cam got a lot of incompletions and drops because he threw a hard pass and didn’t have a receiver worth a damn outside of Olsen. Cam’s accuracy didn’t fall off a cliff till after the shoulder injury.

Great takes. I will say the draft class this year is far better than last years, with at least 3-4 first round QB’s last year only had 1 by comparison. with that said the only QB with a true #1 grade from me is Stroud. Everyone else has one or more issues.

Rumor: The Prodigal Son And The Road Home

This so much, why anyone here would want Jones has me puzzled. -
I made a stupid mistake trying to sell this house

So, can’t speak for certain without knowing exact info, which I honestly don’t care to involve myself in. But 100% sounds like you’re being scammed. it may be worth talking to a local agency to see if there has been a similar scam around. You also may need to consult with an attorney with regards to breaking contract with your current realtor. you should be asking a bunch of questions in a very stern manner and I wouldn’t pay a dime unless I was fully satisfied. People don’t do $5k worth of work and then ask for it all at the end. No reputable contractor does this, part of why I think it’s a scam. -
So, just to remind everyone many people were putting a top 10 grade on Malik Willis last year. don’t get too caught up in the physical attributes hype. The main point of the combine is to look for red flags, or if you’re 50/50 split on someone too find some sort of deciding factor to pick one over another. That’s it. when it comes to QB’s you’re picking them based on 1. Potential 2. Risk. And of their risk of what kind of risk is it? Only player Richardson has jumped in my opinion is Levis and that’s only because of his super weird milk phobia. That’s a red flag on Levis’s part not due to anything Richardson has done. my Top 3 QB’s 1. Stround - high potential and lowest risk (has NFL size and skills) 2. Young - Highest potential and moderate risk due to size 3. Hendon Hooker - his main negative are the ACL(which he had a good update at the combine) and his Age. After that it’s a crap shoot honestly.

Apparently he was ego tripping pretty hard. Makes the whole Wilson to Denver saga even funnier and also makes Wilson look like an idiot. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/35725577/russell-wilson-pushed-pete-carroll-firing-per-report

Panthers met with Hooker per report
Doc Holiday replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
So, Hooker is my number 2 QB on my board, behind CJ Stroud. I also don't believe Bryce Young will go in the top 15 of the NFL draft. His size will likely scare a lot of teams off him. Before you say that Murray was drafted high, Murray is short and stocky; Young is short and a stick. Big difference. -
Robbie Anderson is now Chosen Anderson
Doc Holiday replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Bro isn’t a Panther anymore, he was a crappy one when he was here and a terrible teammate. don’t care, shouldn’t be on the panthers side of the board imo -
It’s official. Carr has been released.

Someone’s behind -
Yeah, I doubt we see anymore QB breakdowns from him. Good videos and breakdowns tho.
-
Yeah got that confused

Matt Miller isn’t the best for Draft mocking. He was a joke of a GM for years
-
Tepper threw that $$$ at him lol
-
unfortunately for him but good news for us, is that many NFL teams want offensive not defensive coaches, so maybe we can enjoy having him for a bit. will be curious to see how it shakes out, normally we dont get to enjoy top tier coordinators very long before they get picked off by other teams.
-
people forget sometimes the issue is the team they are on. yes the raiders are in Vegas now, but they are still the recent raiders and havent been really relevant since they traded Gruden away. Talk about all time worst and best trades in the NFL.
-
The thing that kills me with the Carr to the Saints talk is, the saints who yes have pulled off miracles before would have to pull off a $85 million dollar restructuring of their salary cap before Feb 15th. and I just do not see that happening.
-
Very. Lol
-
Saints are currently $60m over the current salary cap. They would have to move nearly $85mil in current cap. I know they’ve worked miracles before but I just don’t see how that’s possible before Carr would land somewhere.
-
Chargers, we would have had Herbert if not for them.
-
People saying this haven’t looked at saints salary cap lol
-
That’s in your mind, not the real world. None of us are getting invited to the negotiation table. Your suggested trade offer is no more valid than mine. it’s the fun of the discussion. difference between ours is I explained why my offer would have had plenty of value, you didn’t. No it doesn’t have the shock big numbers that people like to throw around. But the value is indeed there.
-
So people get upset about these Hypothetical trades as if we are the ones themselves negotiating with the other team. which is a mistake to do so, this is purely speculative and for fun. But People saying Burns plus #9 isnt valuable enough by itself objectively have no idea what theyre talking about. And lets break down why: 1. we have a top 10 draft pick, which is very valuable. 2. positions by value in the NFL:1. QB 2. Pass Rush DE. Think otherwise? just look at the history of the NFL draft over the last 20 years. only 1 player has gone 1st overall in the last 20 years that wasnt either a QB or a DE. What does that say? DE and QB are the two most important positions on a team. 3. Brian Burns value is high, very very high! He is a Probowl Pass rushing DE and at the young age of 24. Panthers were already offered 2 first round picks and then some for Burns and already turned that down. So we are already saying Burn's value is higher than that, very high. Probably equivalent to a top 3 draft pick. That should be more than enough to get the first overall pick. If they wanted anything more I'd tell them to take a hike Burns isnt worth trading for Anything less than a legit Franchise QB level prospect.
