Pops is a wings fan. That SCF in 99/00(?), and my dad's sheer contempt for this southern hockey team that thought they had a chance against the mighty wings, were what cemented me as a Canes fan! Imma need us to put up like 20 tonight.

Aho with 2 OT GWGs in the same game!!!
-
Now Jarvis about drop gloves... You just know Kucci is wishing someone would try him right now!
-
Svechnikov Ali!

Jarvis-Aho-Rants was buzzing right there. I like that line for when we need to make a push late in the game.
-
Same. Calgary will blow it, somehow... lol
-
Nah, Hall had just come out. The goal killed Aho's PP.
-
Off the stick handle and in... And we're tied now.
-
43" of 3v5 with Hall and Aho in the box...
-
Kadri get 2 minutes for bruising the zebra's fabergé ego... 86" of PP on a fresh sheet to open up the 3rd...

Slavvooo!!!

When the most exciting plays are turnovers from #7 & #8, I can't really argue with ya.

SARs line on pace for 25 shot attempts...

Half this board after a damn near dominant period in which we did not score:
-
12 unanswered shots and 10 of 16 faceoff wins. At least we came out to play in the 1st, for once. Hopefully, Kucci doesn't get bored back there...
-
Uh-oh... we're going on the PP.
-
Nvm... RBA got into his bag again... Svech-Aho-Rants Hall-KK-Blake Marty-Staal-Jarvy Robby-Jost-Roslo Because...
-
Back to our lineup from the Buffalo game. I think we can all agree that using Svech-Aho-Rants as the eraser line probably wasn't the wisest choice...

Losing Pesce and Skjei killed our blue line
Stumpy replied to Panthers Fan 69's topic in Carolina Hurricanes
Exactly the reason that most expected us to take a fairly large step back this year. Losing those 2 in the same offseason was a huge blow to the overall team identity. There were always going to be growing pains from this transition. The fact that we have barely missed a beat, record wise, should be a huge feather in the cap of both, RBA and E.T. The fact that the team is learning how to win without a shutdown defense, should bear us fruit whenever Morrow and Nikishin are ready to make their debuts. I know Nikko's case is a little complex. But, I'd love to see Morrow get a call up before the playoffs to get him seasoned up for a cup run!- 1 reply
