If Ned can translate his natural talent and his AHL experience to the big times, it would solve so many of our problems. Many of our best skaters are young guys who will be looking for paydays soon. All this youth is great, until it comes time to pay them. Especially if you have a penny-pinching-new-money-used-car-salesman-slumlord-owner. Add in that all three goalies are free agents after this season. And, all three will likely (deservedly) be asking for raises. I gotta believe some combination of Ned and Reims/Mrazek would be the cheapest option while allowing us to maintain the makeup and chemistry of this squad. Fingers crossed...

We're gonna need our defence to protect Ned tonight. Luckily we have one of the best in the league.
