Me watching Baker Mayfield slump out of the stadium after yet another loss: "He gonna cry in the car"

How could we not give Fitt another chance?!?

Saying you can't fire someone because they didn't have final say is such a monumentally stupid argument I have to wonder if some of you have any critical thinking skills at all. You can very easily judge him for what he did and wanted regardless. -

Good GMs don't give 17 million to Ian Thomas. Or make scrubs like Erving and Elflein their priority day 1 FA signings. Or trade a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th for Darnold, Mayfield and CJ Henderson. It's all Rhule's influence? After every one of these dumbfug moves we've made, Fitt has been at the following press conference with a big stupid grin on his face, all psyched about that move. There's been ZERO indication that he's butted heads with Rhule. They've been the dynamic stupid duo, working side by side together with every one of these dumbass signings and trades we've made. Fitt is garbage and needs to follow Rhule out the door. -
Under Fitterer we've given up a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th - nearly an entire draft - for Darnold, Mayfield and CJ Henderson. Big contracts to players like Ian Thomas, Elflein and Cam Erving. We've handed out one of the worst contracts in the entire league BOTH years he's been GM. I know a lot of people are in "EvRYthInG iS RHule fauLT!!!111" mode but Fitt is garbage and needs to follow Rhule out the door. If we keep him (which we probably will) we're only wasting time with trash offseason moves and fielding subpar teams every year until he's gone.
-
Definitely a below average roster overall. Fitterer needs to go too. Yeah, Rhule was trash, but you can't blame everything on him. Fitterer has not been a good GM overall. Get a new GM and let him pick the next HC. Clean house from top to bottom. But I don't think that's going to happen. Tepper is most likely going to keep Fitts, which is a mistake. And we're going to waste a few more years in the process. Feels like Fox/Hurney all over again.
-
It's Hurney all over again. Blamed EVERYTHING on John Fox, ran him out of town, and then left that dumfug Hurney as GM. Why keep a holdover, one of the most important pieces at that, of the previous regime when that regime was a total and complete disaster. Just clean house, new GM, new coaching staff. Clean slate for a new regime. Anyone that thinks Fitt is worth keeping go look at that Ian Thomas contract. Go look at how we gave up nearly an entire draft worth of picks for Mayfield, Darnold and Henderson.

I'm predicting the Panthers have negative yards on offense well into the 3rd quarter. It's not until 4th quarter garbage time that they get into the positive.

Nice breakdown on the 49ers defensive scheme. Worth a view if you've got 10 minutes.
-
fixed it for ya

There's literally ONE elite player on the entire offense. Moore is firmly in the "pretty good but not elite" category, rest of the WRs are crap. TEs are forgettable. OLine is still a huge question mark. And Baker Mayfield is the QB. "stacked at all positions" LOLLLLLLLLLLZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

I'm not sure what people are seeing when they say this roster is full of talent. This is easily a bottom 10 roster. Even saying "bottom 10" is being generous TBH. Yeah, coaching is a problem, but it's definitely not the only problem.

you guys are going to look really silly when he rolls off 18 straight Ws and wins the super bowl

Would you be pleased if we hired Byron Leftwich??
R0CKnR0LLA replied to micnificent28's topic in Carolina Panthers
I want to see him without Brady first. Too many coaches have been successful with Brady and ended up being terrible elsewhere. -
the Giants are complete trash so it should be a pretty even matchup
-
His strategy of being so useless that teams completely forget to cover him at all is finally paying off.

Dolphins, Jets, Lions, Jaguars... Some good company we're in there huh guys

Has Rhule ever hit the over?

Moving the chains may be eliminated soon.

it's not like better tech doesn't exist. they're using the less accurate tech because it's good enough for it's current purpose. when you're just tracking general stats being off a few inches is fine. still, there's tech that exists to be accurate down to a fraction of a centimeter. WAY more accurate than having a ref spot the ball. they definitely could implement this if they wanted. i'm all for it, watching a ref just give away an extra yard and a half and a free first down is some serious BS. -
KC looking to trade up into top 10.

Going by the "official" trade value chart 29 + 30 + 50 are almost exactly the same value as 6. Numbers wise it's a fair trade. I'd probably do it, though I'd try to get them to throw in a future 3rd as well. Missing out on a top player would suck, but you're looking at 3 pretty early draft picks. The Panthers aren't one player away from winning a championship (or even two or three) so it makes sense. -

I wonder what the huddle would look like if we got Watson and he decided to keep Rhule

"won" the award for worst signing last offseason off to early favorites this year with the Ian Thomas deal what a clown show

"Bottom of the class": Bruce Feldman talks Combine quarterbacks
R0CKnR0LLA replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
It's a double whammy. Not only are there no QBs worth taking at 6, but the Panthers are much less likely to get a huge offer from teams wanting to trade up.
