Looks like we got a few decent starters. Not sure any of these guys are going to be high end elite players though. So, it's looking like an alright draft but nothing special.

Trading proven players for picks is generally a bad idea. Rather keep the few decent players we have. But we shouldn't be passive and just see what happens either. Bring in every player that's a pending free agent that you want to keep, and try to work out an extension NOW. Don't let them hit free agency. If they're asking some crazy price, or it's very clear that they have zero intention of re-signing with the team THEN you can trade them. Better to get something if they're going to walk anyway.

last years defense was really overrated. they gave up a ton of yards. they only had decent points-per-game because we had a middle schooler starting at QB and teams spent the entire 2nd half every week not even trying to score

i think our strategy is to let the opposing RBs run for so many yards they just tire themselves out

crazy to me the plan at center was a guy coming off back to back season ending injuries, switching positions, and on the last year of his contract anyway while you could have landed a guy in the 2nd that would have been our next Ryan Kalil and locked up the position for the next 10+ years but decided to go with an injured RB instead
