This team needs SO much, desperately needs a huge infusion of talent So... no matter how bad these upcoming QB prospects are... hype them to the absolute stratosphere to the media. I would say maybe the Panthers piling up garbage stats for BY so they can't trick some dumb team into giving up a fat trade offer for him, but they're not that damn smart. They're playing him cause they're stupid enough to think they're still going to salvage him and at some point there's some magical switch that's going to flip and he's going instantly start playing like an NFL QB or something

You're overall roster talent is basically two things 1, maximizing cheap talent (your last 4 drafts) 2, maximizing cap space (good FA pickups at fair prices) Going to take a couple good drafts to turn around the mess Fitterer left. Luckily there doesn't seem to be too many bad FA contracts we're stuck with long term. Sanders and Ian Thomas should both be coming off soon. After that there's really nothing too bad outside of B.Young who we'll probably end up trading and unload his contract that way.

Trade him to the Raiders for Maxx Crosby. They're not going anywhere with Gardner Minshew, plus they're a stupid poorly run franchise so maybe they'd be dumb enough to take the deal.
