Trade him to the Raiders for Maxx Crosby. They're not going anywhere with Gardner Minshew, plus they're a stupid poorly run franchise so maybe they'd be dumb enough to take the deal.

At least the team is competitive now with Dalton. Imagine how hilariously bad the season would look with the 32 ranked defense and Bryce "3 and out" Young starting the entire year.

Even assuming they actually managed to do something useful and get to the QB, they'd probably just throw a shoulder into Burrow and fall down. I honestly don't remember seeing a safety depth chart as bad as this one, they are beyond garbage. You could probably stick a couple scarecrows into the turf back there and have about the same results. Still surprised we didn't blitz more, you know the standard pass rush isn't gonna do jack. Might as well blitz a safety every obvious passing situation, not like they could be any more useless.

They've been scheming them to stay and block. Seeing as how we don't have an elite pass catching TE and they've done very well blocking, it's probably the right call.

This offseason they let 4 starters and multiple key rotational players walk. Threw all their resources into offense in an attempt to salvage Bryce's career. Take that paper thin bottom tier talent and add a bunch of injuries, the D is being held together by duct tape and super glue at this point. Any team not lead by some Gardner Minshew level QB is going to shred these guys.

4 drops on easy catches, 2 failed 4th downs, ref calls against us all day, defense couldn't stop them if their life depended on it, nobody on D could tackle anyone. Somehow all that and still in it at the end, pretty amazing TBH. At least Dalton keeps us competitive, if Bryce was in there it would have looked like a repeat of the Saints game and been over before halftime.

Pass rush is near non-existence, safeties are beyond ass. Evero isn't some GOAT DC, but he's not horrible either. Mostly a talent issue, only so much you can do with these scrubs, especially against an offense like the Bengals have.

this whole team is so undisciplined in tackling. everyone wants to just fly in and throw a shoulder into someone and bounce off. nobody knows how to wrap up properly. Kuechly is probably having a damn aneurysm watching this crap

That was some of the worst OLine play I've ever seen, but word is that he was playing injured (which would explain alot, as nobody should be THAT bad otherwise.) He's looked much, much, much better this year now that he's healthy. Both in preseason and in the limited action against the Raiders. Wouldn't be surprised if he ends up being a solid starter now, which is amazing considering how bad he looked year 1.

I don't think he's gonna be on the board picking at 32 anyway.

I'm with this. Sure, if someone rolls up with a fat offer, take it. But a 4th rounder is practically nothing. Just hold onto him and hope some dumbass team gets desperate.

I'd call up the Raiders and see if they'd trade Bryce for Maxx Crosby straight up. Hopefully they'd be stupid enough to do it ... i mean.. uhhh that they'd totally see the great untapped potential in Young and be excited turn his career around!

Now all we've got on the table is a 4th lmao It's like buying a Lambo for $180,000 and then selling it a year later for $30.

Bears, Falcons, Broncos, Giants, Bengals, Cardinals are all straight trash. That's SEVEN games against dumpster fire bottom tier teams. Commanders and Cowboys should be tough matchups, but still winnable. Bucs and Saints could be really tough, those are most likely Ls. Probably be happy with going 1-2 in those 3 games. Chiefs are gonna straight whoop our ass. And even if by some miracle we pull out a win, the refs are gonna hand them the game anyway. Overall not too bad of a schedule TBH.

One good part of trading Young is to get out from under his contract. The last thing you want to do is trade for someone whose below Dalton and has an even worse contract.
