Fitt literally walked into a situation with a below average roster, and somehow made it worse. Every single year. Two years under Fitt, we've given out some of the worst contracts, and made some of the worst trades. The two years under Fitt, have been among the worst offseasons out of the entire NFL. UMM HELLOOO??? DO YOU HAVE EYEBALLS?

Improve the roster? I offer this simple question to anyone... Have the Panthers looked better this year, in Rhules 3rd yeard, or in his earlier years? Well, obviously anyone with eyeballs can see the Panthers have gotten progressively worse during his tenure. But why? Is Rhule suddenly magically a different coach? Did he suddenly become trash? Umm, no, he's the same guy he always was. So why are we even worse off now? It's obvious. The roster is worse. this is such a huge part of the problem. good teams will scrap everything from a garbage regime and start fresh. panther, throughout their history, have been like "ohhh yeah THIS guy is bad, but hey lets keep this other guy" and we drag over garbage from the previous regime, and it just spills over. you've all seen the results

From someone who lived in Vegas for 5 years, I can tell you day drinking in Vegas is awesome. Right up until you're late-day-drunk in Vegas, which has middling results.

Ohh it definitely happened with Hurney 1.0 too. These dumfugs that are like "it's all Rhule, let's see how Fitt does with a new coach" were the same dumfugs that were like "it's all Fox, let's see how Hurney does with a new coach". Some people never learn I guess. Yeah, by the time we hit Hurney 2.0 status people were fed up with giving free passes, but it takes FOREVER for some of these people to come around to the obvious conclusion everyone else figured out years ago.
