I would say that yes we are more talented assuming continued development of our young core. I, like everyone else, admit that I was a bit confused after we made our first three picks - my obsession of reading the pundits and proposed mock draft boards lead me to forget that any analytics should be applied based on the ultimate impact to our Panther's system - the players we picked were highest off of our board. Could G-man play the game a little and let players valued in our system (but valued less in others) fall in the draft or make trades to accumulate additional draft picks (probably) - but I think one of the major reasons we have been so successful is that G-man keeps it simple and picks who he wants. Also, the best coffee is from this little coffee shop in Charlotte called Cafeccinos - their Chai Teas are phenomenal.

Long time reader, but created a login just for this thread. The easy answer is that I am a born and bred Charlottean (having graduated from both South Mecklenburg and up 77 from Davidson College) - you could say being a Panther is in my blood. I was such a big fan that when I worked in Japan, I used to pay my friends to record games via VHS (showing my age) and have them mail them to me where I would watch the games a month late (having already known the score and outcome). But my love for these Panthers has evolved over the years and has particularly grown recently when the Panthers drafted Cam. This franchise has created a special relationship with the fans that matter the most - children. My godson loves Cam Newton - his greatest dream is to be given a football by Cam after having scored a touchdown. The tradition that Mike Shula and Cam Newton have created is incredibly impactful to children. I missed out on getting two tickets for my godson and I when playoff tickets went on sale a couple of weeks back . . . but I would gladly drive 5 hours to the game with my godson if I were fortunate enough to win two tickets. See below (what he did to his football) - we would dab the whole drive down to Charlotte.
