Any team out there to trade for him right now would have to be absolutely brain dead. Unless you just have to have him, and don't want anybody else snooping around. Considering how much money hes set to make next year, and that the Raiders are going to be forced to cut him, its simple to just wait until hes cut then try to sign him. Plus you don't have to give up any resources in the process.

There is always a "friend of the program", or a friendly booster or local business owner or something. I experienced this kinda stuff at Appalachian State back in the day with the football team (I played baseball) so I can only imagine how crazy is was at the major schools.

Its really no different than it was...only now these schools have to publicly state how much they pay the top guys, versus it being hush hush. Or poo like a lease on a new Escalade for 1 dollar a month, or a job that pays 20k a month where the guy doesn't have to show up.

I just saw some article with like 5 or 6 reasonable moves we can make to get to 50 million under the cap with the quickness. We're actually in really, really good shape moving forward from a cap standpoint. They need to lock up Bozeman and Foreman and make a few key FA signings and we will be ready to rock. This is assuming we draft our future franchise QB in round 1 this year.

We are going to 100% have to trade up in order to draft Young, Stroud, Levis or Richardson.

The entire Bucs roster looks old and slow. I would MUCH rather have our roster as it currently stands versus Tampa.

I would rather have one of the promising rookies this year on a rookie deal for the next 4 or 5 seasons than a Lamar Jackson type who is probably gonna cost 45 mil a year.

I think so. Hes done. So, what the hell are the Bucs gonna do at QB now? 3 teams in the NFC South for sure need a new starting QB, and the jury is still out in Atlanta. We're probably gonna have to make a real power move into the top 3 to get a guy we really desire.
