  1. Some of you motherfugers are NEVER happy. Jesus Christ. Shaq is a really good player and a leader on our team. It’s a good thing that we’re keeping him.
  2. Yup. AR is like Cam without the undefeated National champion, Heisman Trophy season. Give me one of the 2 guys who have actually done it and produced. I’ll be happy with CJ or Young honestly
  3. That’s the thing about Young. He’s so advanced at his age. He can read the whole files and work his progressions like an NFL vet. If only he wasn’t a fuging midget. Gahhh. But CJ isn’t far behind him and he’s a big dude. I trust our staff to pick the right guy. Feels good to be able to say that.
  4. I’m with you bro. I’m very very open minded to what Young can do. He was an amazing QB at Bama. I think he can be great in this NFL, and I won’t be mad at all if we pick him.
  5. This is true. The o linemen and d linemen in the SEC are pretty much the same size as NFL lines and I don’t recall Young having much trouble with getting passes swatted down, or getting injured. I am slightly in favor of CJ (maybe 60/40) but I believe Young has a chance to be special.
  6. If Young were Strouds size he would be the slam dunk #1 overall. He would be being talked about as a generational talent like Luck, Lawrence etc.
  7. Yeah, and we had those 2 guys the past 4 years and did absolutely SQUAT without a real QB. Much better to have the QB spot settled and then try to get him weapons versus having the weapons and throwing darts at the board for half a decade trying to get a QB, all while those weapons get older, injured and more expensive.
  8. Fitterer is NOTHING like Hurney. Like the anthesis of Hurney
  9. Nothing makes some of y’all happy, I swear. We just got the first pick in the draft. That’s good news.
  10. Because the teams drafting those guys needed QBs and the Bears don’t?
  11. Lol I’m 42 and I can count the number of Panthers games I have missed in their entire existence on 2 hands.
  12. Shouldn’t be too difficult to replace 900 yards and 7 TDs
  13. Lots and lots and lots of chatter and smoke on NFL twitter about us trading with the Bears for 1 overall. I think its happening ladies and gentlemen.
  14. There is A LOT of smoke/chatter currently on NFL Twitter about us having a trade in place with Chicago to get the first overall pick...
  15. Yikes. We now officially have the thinnest, worst LB corps in the entire NFL. Luvu is the only playmaker at that level currently on the team. I hope they have a plan.
  16. Right, if we're at least not kicking the tires on Lamar and ARod, it tells me that we already have a plan and/or trade worked out to get our rookie. This staff doesn't seem like the type to just let the chips fall where they may....especially after the last 4 years or so around here.
  17. Something has gotta give with these QB salaries. Its untenable to pay 1 player 25-30% of the cap thats allocated for 51 salaries.
  18. Ok yeah. Those 3 are legit. That’s 3 out of what? 20 something? I like Fitty a lot, but they’ve gotta start drafting better throughout the whole draft. Rhule was probably a big part of how bad it was so the jury is still out.
  19. They’ve been REALLY bad outside of the first. Like really, really bad.
  20. No. We’re not. The adults are in the room now, and they have a plan. I can guarantee that. Just wait and see what happens, Champ.
  21. Yeah, what would that even look like? Has a team ever traded from 2 to 1? Im sure its probably happened but I cannot recall. I would think it would only net Chicago maybe a 2nd and something like a future 3rd or 4th?
  22. I wonder if the reason that us, in particular, have not been interested in Lamar is because we already have a deal in place to move up to the top of the draft? Perhaps all the way to 1? Im thinking maybe they have already agreed to a deal and it will be announced around the 15th of this month when the new league year starts?
