    Hi

Yeah, Im sure The Huddle has Zod just ROLLING in dough these days.
  2. Oh yeah, my bad. You are right. Just watched it again. Still though, having watched the entire video the strength of his arm is absolutely zero concern to me. My man is surgical with it.
  3. Also, damn Jameson Williams is good.
  4. So anybody worried about his arm strength needs to watch this. About a minute and a half in, he throws from his end zone, one a rope, to the far 40. 60-65 yard pass. Hes going to be just fine.

    Hi

    There’s a lot to unpack here…
  6. Love DJ, but I think we wont have a whole lot of trouble replacing 1000 yards and 4 TDs every season. To his credit though, he never had a real QB throwing him the ball. Maybe Fields can become that?
  7. I thought the whole thing was that there was zero chance Kobe ever suited up for the Hornets, and we drafted him with the express purpose of trading him to the Lakers?
  8. Because Klay and Steph can both shoot lights out?
  9. Sounds about right to me. We actually have a really solid roster top to bottom. Since we (hopefully) have locked up the QB position, there are not a lot of other glaring holes. We need a true WR1, which Chark could become if healthy, also TMJ has shown flashes of being a really really good player. Most WR's light comes on in season 3, if it ever does come on, so he could have a big year. Still need some help at Edge, Defensive Line and Interior LB though.
  10. I think "balled out" is being generous, but he was decent in little spurts here and there.
  11. Meh. Who gives a poo. Chris Simms is a goober.
  12. Sucks that hes getting jobbed out by Tom Brady after 1 season. I'd be rightfully pissed if I was Olsen.
  13. Absolutely. Look at the Manning/Leaf draft. Leaf was the physical prototype with the Howitzer arm. Not that Manning has a bad arm, but he used his brain probably more than any other QB we’ve seen and he’s one of the top 2 or 3 to ever do it. Jamarcus Russell, Jeff George, and a litany of other dudes with all the physical gifts and potential in the world, but never had it between the ears.
  14. You don’t think Stroud will be QB1 in Houston right away? All he’s gotta do is beat out that jabronie Davis Mills…
  15. Delaying the inevitable, but I get it. I don’t see any scenario where Bryce is not QB1 Week 1 against ATL, barring injury of course.
  16. The Falcons have dogshit on most of their defense. They an unknown at QB. They mostly have a dogshit coaching staff and fanbase. They do have good weapons at TE/RB/WR. However top to bottom I think objectively our roster clears there. If nothing else for the talent we have all over our defense, and the potential of Bryce Young at QB. Riddler was OK I guess last year. Hard to say how hes going to do this year, considering he only started 3 or 4 games at the end of the year. In those games though he was not very productive at all. Only 2 TD passes in ~120 attempts.
  17. Ive always said my ideal QB would be mobile enough to avoid rushers and still get the ball down field, very accurate, throws with great anticipation, and is very intelligent/makes the right decisions in the heat of the game. Great arm strength is good to have, but it can also get you in trouble as you make reckless decisions trying to fit balls in tight windows. Bryce does all of the above in spades, and his arm is absolutely good enough to shine in the NFL.
  18. Where does this narrative come from that he has "middling" arm strength? Ive watched nearly every throw hes made in his college career over the past few month, and his arm strength is no worse than 99% of the other QBs out there. There are multiple throws where he zips it 40+ yards on a rope to the exact right spot. Yeah he doesnt have an arm like young Cam or Stafford, but hes also not Chad Pennington/Jimmy Clausen levels either. From what I have seen there should be absolutely zero worry about how strong his arm is.

  20. Yeah our SOS is like top 6. This is our year to make some noise.
  21. Yeah it was a really amazing experience. We live in Texas now, but he did a presentation in school this year about all that.
  22. They always do. I’m not sure if I’ve shared this before, but if any of you guys remember there was a 3 year old boy a few years back who they had do the official 53 roster announcement. They made a video and it went kinda viral on Twitter and YouTube and all that. Well that kid was my son Mason, who is now 7. He really did memorize the entire team. We went to FanFest and he was hooked. Well anyways they brought us in and treated us First Class the whole time. It was a great experience for us and my son, and something we still talk about and look back at fondly today as he’s 7 now, and we have another little 3 year old boy. Good freaking times. Here’s the video btw
  23. Damn, on the road 4 out of 5 weeks....with 3 in a row?!
