  1. I wonder which one of Drummond and Easterby LaCanforna has been talking to about this? This is kinda out of the blue if there has not been any chatter going on behind the scenes. Is Drummond our back channel into Houstons Front Office? Perhaps Drummond has Easterby's ear, and hes using that to negotiate directly with Cal McNair? Their new GM probably wouldn't appreciate that very much though.
  2. Hell yeah! At least we have something fun to talk about! I can only read so many write ups on the strengths and weaknesses of the first round QBs.
  3. The simplest, most elegant solution is staring us all in the face. Suck for Sam. Easy.
  4. Yeah they just need a whole new offense and they’d be great!
  5. His shoulders never going to be the same, and thus his arm strength is never going to be the same. Once you go into the shoulder and start messing around you build up lots of scar tissue and lose range of motion. Sucks because he used to have a Howitzer for an arm.
  6. Yeah they kept winning with Taysom Hill starting at QB. They’d still drag us with Teddy playing.
  7. Yeah, but Caserio is not Belichick. I think we've learned over the years that simply working with BB, and being around BB cannot turn a guy into BB. There is no gaining of knowledge or insight or instinct via osmosis. How many Pats coaches and front office guys have gone on to great success in the NFL? How many have been hired and failed?
  8. LOL how do you know that? Where has it been said that he "was not answering their calls"?
  9. LOL Hell Yes! I think that the Deshaun/Houston ship has sailed, and then sank to the bottom of the ocean. They must trade him or face becoming an even bigger embarrassment than they already are. Houston can say whatever they want to, but Watson is not going to be their QB Week 1 next year.
  10. I say this as unironically as I possibly can. The answer is: God. It seems Easterby and McNair share a deep religious devotion, and Easterby has used this to wrap McNair around his little finger. It does not make logical sense to us, but this seems to be the case.
  11. Well thats the rub, isnt it? Any team that trades for Watson is going to have to give up the farm. There is no trade scenario that does not rape the team that Watson is going to.
  12. I don't know about it being a disaster....thats a little strong. There are growing pains, but it seems we have the right coach, the right OC and hopefully the right GM in place. Rome wasn't built in a day, and all that jazz....
  13. Watson just sent out a tweet a little while ago talking about how important loyalty is to him.
  14. I would imagine that the Texans already know that we are All-In. You have to think our GM and theirs have already discussed this in detail....
  15. IDK....I seem to recall Tony Romo saying recently on one of his broadcasts that things like I mentioned are the norm around the NFL.
  16. Ehhhh, IDK - I would imagine most franchise QBs are consulted on at least the offensive guys the front office are looking to bring in. Even if its just a cursory "what do you think about playing with this guy". I don't think its a good idea to give any players Yes/No rights for personnel, but it seems obvious that teams would want the QB's input on offensive players. Also on scheme/OC. Maybe I'm way off, but its seems pretty natural to me.
