  1. I live in Texas now, so am I understanding this correctly - there is not going to be a way to watch Panthers games this year without subbing to DirecTV proper? No individual streaming package like in previous years? I wish there was a way just to subscribe to individual teams games, like just a Panthers package or NFC South package for like 100 bucks. I’d be all over that.
  2. Yeah they are probably trying to trade him. They must be hella high on Terrace Marshall. I get it though, if you think you can replace a guy making 8 million a year, with a 2nd round rookie, then why the hell not?
  3. To Ron and Co's defense, why would they change anything then? We had steamrolled thru the entire league all year, and dominated both of our playoff games. That team was one of the most ass-kicking teams on both sides of the ball that I have ever seen. Now, in hindsight its easy to say they should have done this, and should have done that, but at that time, there was no need to change anything as we had kicked the poo out of everybody we played all season. I think the expectation was that Cam and company would continue to shine in that game - we just ran into an all-time great defense with an all time great plan, and the refs did us no favors all game long.
  4. DJ has the 4th most yards in NFL History before the age of 24. Only Randy Moss, Mike Evans and DeAndre Hopkins are ahead of him in the entire history of the league. DJ is criminally slept on.
  5. If Sam can connect with DJ deep even a little bit more than Teddy could, hes going to set the league on fire this year. Im thinking 1500 yards and 12 TDs.
  6. Wow - an actual complimentary, glowing report on the state of our Panthers. I am shocked. I agree with everything this guy says. This year is going to be somewhat of a transition year, and we are going to compete with everyone we play. I am predicting 9-10 wins this year, and challenging for a Wild Card late into the year. Next year is when we put the league on notice and battle for the Division and NFC Title. I am high on Darnold, Brady, Rhule and the entire Defense.
  7. Holy Hell...PFF says we have the 20th ranked WR corp in the NFL this year. This is just absolutely absurd. I dont know why they poo on the Panthers so much with all of their rankings, but I think this one takes the cake. Im not saying we're number 1 or anything, but we damn sure are much, much better than 20th. https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-ranking-all-nfl-receiving-corps-ahead-of-the-2021-season
  8. He unwilling to push the ball because he knows that he does not have the arm strength to do it successfully. Simple as.
  9. We also have David Moore who had decent production in limited action last season. I COULD see them wanting to roll with a youth movement on offense, by beginning the season starting both Moore's outside and giving Terrace time to mature before installing him at WR2 and moving D.Moore or Shi Smith into the slot. IDK....but I sure as hell would not move Robby this year if I was running the team.
  10. What would Darnold have to do with that? You would think Darnold would be a reason to KEEP Robby here, not get rid of him....hes the only guy with any sort of chemistry with Sam so far.
  11. Seeing rumors on Twitter that we are going to trade or release Robby Anderson for some strange reason. I see no benefit in a move like that, unless they trade him for something somewhat valuable. We have Robby and Moore and then a lot of unproven young guys....would be dumb to get rid of him now.
  12. Speak for yourself. I’ll take less preseason and more end of season games all day.
  13. Dude you consistently have the worst takes on this entire site, and that’s saying something. Congrats on the achievement.
  14. Dude Horn is an animal wtf are you talking about?
  15. Maybe not a great comparison considering the Broncos won the Super Bowl and beat us in that game in his final season…
  16. Good thing with our offense is that we trot out 3WR the vast majority of the time, so he’s going to likely step into a “starting” role sooner than later. Although I think many of us are forgetting David Moore who could rightfully take the slot WR spot from jump. We’re loaded on offense any way you slice it. Defense too for that matter.
  17. Horn, Jackson and Bouye has the potential to be a helluva CB group. The addition of Horn and Bouye takes a ton of pressure off of Jackson and lets him take his more nature spot against a WR2 or in the slot, although I imagine AJ will start the season as slot CB.
  18. Absolutely. Especially for a team like GB, SF or Tenn.
  19. If the trends Rhule has set at the college level continue into his pro career we should have a very good year on both sides of the ball, and challenge for a playoff spot this year. Then next year will be the season we really start to dominate and challenge for NFC and Super Bowl championships. I already see the same sort of process panning out here. Gonna be a fun ride boys and girls!
  20. Very possible, in fact, probably likely....BUT Henry could also be the next Adrian Peterson/Frank Gore/Bettis type of guy who kicks ass well into his 30s. Its crazy that hes only 27. I feel like I have been seeing him truck guys for 12 years now.
