  1. I don’t think that’s the same cohort at all. People who didn’t give a poo about what Jerry did likely don’t give a poo about Watsons deal.
  2. Seriously though, has there ever been one season where pundits were like “That Panthers O Line is something to be feared”. Maybe 03 when they were all roided up? Other than that it’s been slim pickings.
  3. Yup. Not to mention to opposing attorney is next door neighbors to a team front office official.
  4. I don’t give a poo bro. He’s an amazing QB. I’m not the morality police.
  5. HES. NOT. GOING. TO. BE. SUSPENDED. OR. PUT. ON. THE. EXEMPT. LIST. Full stop.
  6. Absolutely with you there dude. No matter who is playing QB, they need to make it priority number 1 to fix this goddamn putrid o line.
  7. I don't think that is necessarily true. Ian Rappaport came out this morning and said the league has no intentions of placing him on the Exempt List or suspending him. I would imagine Ian has asked people in the NFL offices about this, and that was their reply...
  8. I think this idea. These are real, tangible things he can do to hopefully repair his image. Even if the allegations all turn out to be B.S., he probably needs to consider doing these things anyways.
  9. OK....AND? So you go out and make the move that is available RIGHT NOW, which is getting one of the top 5 QBs in the game, who is only 25 years old. Then you take your considerable salary cap space moving forward and you build him an o-line. Hell, the Rams will not have a first round pick for 10 damn years, and they seem to be doing just fine building a successful team around their franchise QB.
  10. What in the world has given you any indication that he will be suspended for the rest of this year AND next year?
  11. Now I actually like this idea. Get him on the team, and then officially suspend him for the rest of the season. Who cares? Not like we're making the playoffs this year anyways. Then, next year is when it can FINALLY start to all come together, and we have a well-rested superstar QB ready to take over the NFC South for the next 10 years.
  12. So your general hypothesis here is that we would pretty much be the same offense with Deshaun as we are with Sam?!?
  13. We would be a lot closer with a QB like Watson.....just sayin'.
  14. I don't know about you, but im damn tired of "wasted seasons". How many of those have we had in a row now? How long ago was 2015?
  15. I think if we do somehow end up getting him, then Tepper will have done his homework with the league and verified that there is no suspension on the horizon. He does not strike me as the type of guy to just hope it goes his way in a situation like this where the stakes are so high.
  16. Totally with you there. We should have just kept Cam and called it a day. We would not be having any of these conversations right now.
