No, im not saying they are a bad team. They are 4-4, just like us. They are an average team. Pretty much like us. Im not even saying we win, but I don't think they are going to wipe the field with us or anything either.

Yes? And? We're facing a depleted Pats offense with no real impact players and a rookie QB. We may be getting CMC back, and the defense should hold their offense in check. This is a very winnable game. Its not like we're facing the Tom Brady led Pats.

Well we DID win a game last year that PJ started 20-0, so its not like its impossible for him to win us a ballgame.

They're not going to find anybody out there available in FA or the draft better than Baker, and if for some crazy reason they did decide not to re-sign him, I hope Fitty jumps all over him the second hes available.

I mean come on dude, objectively Baker Mayfield is a MUCH better QB than Jake Delhomme ever thought about being, and this is coming from someone who LOVES Jake. The only people saying any different are people on this website.

This time the year Baker went #1, absolutely nobody had him going #1 overall either. Hell, if I recall correctly, nobody had him #1 until very close to draft day. Its so early to even be talking who goes where, especially when there is no clear cut top guy like Lawrence in this years draft.

This news is actually probably the best case scenario for our chances of landing Watson. Gives him time to clear up his mess (or not), and gives us the rest of the season to see if Sam can figure it out. As hard as I have been on Sam lately, he has SOMETHING. If he can just put it all together he could be a decent QB. Im not very confident that happens, BUT its possible. Also, I think this puts us firmly back in the Watson sweepstakes.

The addition of Gilmore and the return of Shaq was huge. Gilmore is gonna make things happen moving forward. I really hope we lock him up for 2 or 3 years.
