Which one is Ridder? The guy second from the right who looks 35?
-
Completely different situations. Dead cap usually results from signing bonuses and restructuring contracts. Neither are a concern for Sam. Just straight salary with zero dead cap.

Im pretty sure he would get over it if he had a chance to be a starting QB in the NFL. Only 32 of those jobs in the world so he would likely get over being butt hurt about being traded here pretty quickly
-
Well if we did get it we would obviously do a new contract to lower that by quite a bit
-
Also he doesn’t have a no trade clause so it might not even matter if he wants to be here or not
-
Did he buy a ticket or something? Does he work there now, sweeping the floors and cleaning the shitters?
-
I would cream my damn britches if we could somehow swing a trade for this dude. He’s incredible.
-
I mean come on. He only threw 7 picks last year to go with 42 TDs.
-
Perhaps to Houston as part of a deal for Tunsil??
-
Either that or we go LT at 6 and trade for Jimmy G or Mayfield. I don’t care what “reports” say about our and Bakers mutual interest. Nobody tells the truth this time of year.
-
Lol he absolutely did not effortlessly flick it. He put his entire ass into it, just like Ridder did. Maybe that’s what it seems like from the video but nobody at any level effortlessly throws a football 70 yards

In Clevelands defense though, I believe any criminal charges against him nullify his contract guarantees. -
And if they are, then we would have the opportunity to get Hutchinson or Thibedeaux. I know I butchered his name, but whatever. We are going to be in the position to draft a real game changer at a position of need regardless of where it is. Thats the beauty of having a shitty roster! Holes to be filled everywhere!

If Willis is gone at 6, and they're not sold on Pickett, just take whichever stud LT falls to us. Easy peazy. We will figure out QB next year. All of a sudden we would have a legit potential great line, and Sam or Cam or whomever else might look a lot better all of a sudden. QBs tend to do a lot better when they're not running for their lives or getting killed every drop back.

Yup. He was a first round pick by Green Bay, who happen to know a thing or 2 about picking good QBs, for a reason.

How does anybody know if hes any good or not? Hes barely played at all. The man has thrown 62 passes in his NFL career, and its not like hes been completely terrible. Hes completed around 60% of his passes for 411 yards, 2 TDs and 3 INTs....not exactly a large body of work
-
LOL what? So you wouldn't have taken Peyton Manning, or Andrew Luck, or Trevor Lawrence with the first pick? You'd take a damn defensive tackle instead??
-
Corral has got a QUICK release. Sheesh!
-
Thats 2 possibly, 3 Hall of Famers though

If a guy is not accurate in college, 9 times out of 10 hes not going to magically become accurate in the pros. No matter how much coaching he gets. Does it happen occasionally? Sure....but more often than not they are who they are.
