  1. Seriously. Having ANY player eat up around 25% of your cap is not a smart way to build a team. Unless that player is Patrick Mahomes or maybe Joe Burrow or Josh Allen thats a tough pill to swallow
  2. The thing about Levis is that he played his college ball at Kentucky. Not exactly a bastion of college football talent. You can tell from his tape that he has elite physical tools. I can see why some pro teams are drooling over him. Pair him up with NFL talent and NFL coaching and he COULD explode. Or he could be terrible. Its such a crap shoot with these dudes.
  3. Yeah, Burrow doesn't have a WOW type arm, but hes got plenty of juice to get it where it needs to be. A lot like CJ here. Burrow excels with decision making, processing and accuracy.
  4. I think we have to be in the running for the best coaching staff, top to bottom, in the entire league. We’ve got 4 guys now who had HC interviews this season. That’s nuts.
  5. We’ve got the best overall coaching staff in the NFL right now. Who’s better top to bottom?
  6. Well poo. I’d throw one of our 2nds at them to get Hop with the quickness
  7. I think there is 1 thing that is for sure…we’re going to be extremely smart, extremely well coached, and extremely aggressive on both sides of the ball. I have not been so excited for a season maybe ever, and we don’t even have a QB and haven’t had the draft and free agency yet. This is an absolutely legendary coaching staff being built
  8. If the Bears really are crazy and want to trade Fields then let’s get him. If not, move to 1 or 3 and get Stroud or Young. If not them then sign Carr. I don’t give a poo honestly. Just get a good QB for fugs sake!
  9. Ok I think your insider status has been confirmed. Any clue as to what they’re thinking about doing at the QB position??
  10. If I was a team who was lucky enough to draft a star rookie, and have success with him for 4 or 5 years, I would almost be tempted to trade them for a windfall of picks and then draft another highly touted rookie on a rookie deal. The cost of these good QBs these days is getting insane, and its only getting worse. Having to pay 1 player 25-30% of you entire cap is not a good way to build a good, well rounded team. I think starting over with one of the top guys every 5 years or so isn't too crazy of an idea.
  11. So reading the other couple posts from this account, it appears that they are a true insider.
  12. They could give him a really big signing bonus and voidable years to make it a cap friendly deal. These guys are wizards with the cap these days.
  13. No state income tax is overrated. You think these states just said "Hey guys, don't worry we don't like getting your money"? No, they get their pound of flesh in other ways. Take for instance where I live in Texas. No state income tax, however I pay 600 dollars a month in property taxes on my roughly $400,000 dollar home. It all evens out.
  14. Its pretty goddamn impressive that we now have 33% of the 9 coaches we interviewed to be the next head guy now on the staff.
  15. If we do get Carr there is no way in hell that we draft a QB at 9. I could see a LB, DE or even WR in that scenario.
  16. True but he’s going to cost 50 million a year and probably north of a quarter billion total. fug that noise.
  17. Lamar is a great young QB, however if we have to trade a bunch of picks either for him or to move up to the top 3 in the draft I’d rather roll with the rookie on the rookie contract than a Lamar type for 50 million bucks a year.
  18. We can’t negotiate with him while he’s a member of another team, can we? Didn’t they use the version of the tag that allows him to only negotiate with the Ravens?
  19. How exactly did you get that, out of what I said here?
