    Well yeah. That’s true. But what happens when somebody sued and subpoenas all these teams email, chat, text and phone records? Now this will never happen but there is ALWAYS a paper trail if someone looks hard enough and is skilled enough to know where to look. That’s all I’m saying.

    In other QB news - the Giants just paid Daniel Jones 4 years 160 mil, with another 35 available in incentives. Jesus Christ All Mighty.

    Perhaps Tepper was not willing to give a fully guaranteed deal to Watson because of his....proclivities? Jackson by all accounts seems to be a model citizen. No 2 situations are the same. Not saying we WILL do that, but you never know.

    I keep think that there is something to be said for trying to get a stud rookie on a rookie deal for 4 or 5 years, then trade him when his stock is high and he wants a huge deal, and go after the next big rookie, wash, rinse, repeat. Yeah it’s super risky but you could build a monster team around said rookies.

    Seems we say this about the Saints every season, and every season they manage to get under the cap and sign the guys the want to anyways...

    Yeah, im thinking we do everything possible to get to 1 overall. Then, its a decision between Young and Stroud. Honestly IDK who I would pick at this point. I lean towards Young, as overall hes the more well rounded QB, but his size scares me...and CJ is a helluva QB in his own right. Gonna be interesting to see what happens in the next month.

    When its all said and done I am almost certain that we are going to end up in the top 3 of the draft with one of either Young or Stroud.

    We just got rid of one very expensive RB. Probably not in a hurry to sign another one. Production from the RB position can be had so cheaply, in so many ways today that I dont see why any team would hand out a huge contract to one.

    Good for us. Removes one of the teams drafting ahead of us from the QB sweepstakes. Let them pay this guy 40 mil a year, we will roll with a top rookie on a rookie deal.
