  1. how can this be true? I read on here that Tepper only cares about money, is a hands on meddling owner, and is a complete douche. I believe everything I read on teh huddlez
  2. so far that's just how the drafts last year and this year have fallen. it's not like there's a giant conspiracy against the OL. If sewell had been there, we'd have taken him. there are a few solid OL prospects on the board right now. it is likely that one of them will be BPA, or at least close enough that we will take one at 39, but who knows. if moehrig falls all the way to our spot, or if everyone in front of us goes OL, then we will be in a spot again where OL isn't our best pick.
  3. how is a top level CB a boring pick? I've seen this a lot from people who wanted someone else, but a pick is one of the more "jump out of your seat" exciting plays in the the game and a pick-6 is just that much sweeter. even if you don't get a pick, locking down the receivers so that the front 7 can get a sack is almost as good. fast, aggressive defense is sexy as hell. bonerific.
  4. that strategy worked well for the broncos in the super bowl against us
  5. BPA, if that's a FS, then it's a FS and our defense will be solid af.
  6. if we take a DT or S then we'll have a stud defense for several years. we may only score 14ppg, but we'll only give up 10, so we win.
  7. not only our best rated CB, but we took the first defensive player in the entire draft.
  8. there's several solid OL prospects available going into the second round. we should have no problem getting one in our spot.
  9. OT at 2 followed by Dickerson at 3 would be jizz worthy.
  10. several good OL options should be available at our spot in rd2. Eichenberg isn't on your list. He could very well be the pick.
  11. the first time Horn picks off Fields, I'll lol my damn face off.
  12. so you wouldn't be mad about our OL woes anymore?
  13. if we have a shut down corner for 10 years out of this pick, it will be enormous value. but, but, but its #8. I'd be ok with it at #15. whatever. if he makes our team better and vastly improves a weakness on the team, who gives a fug about 5 or 6 spots.
  14. did you think that every time last year when it was 3rd and 13, and we gave up a 15yd pass? getting off the field on 3rd down is a rather important factor to allowing your offense to get back on.
  15. again, based on what? sounds more like butthurt than anything legitimate. it's only the first round. this is purported to be a deep OL draft. there's several very good OL selections left. if we pick OL in 2 and 3 will you stop whining?
  16. so you're opinion that he's not a top notch CB is based on our OL needs. cool.
  17. based on what? your decades of expertise?your butthurt emotions?
  18. if we can get off the field on 3rd down because our secondary becomes a strength, it will 100% affect the team’s fortunes.
  19. watch us pick OT in 2 and 3, and everyone bitches about how our LB corp is depleted.
  20. I expect sewell was our #1, but with him gone we had our choice of any defensive player. getting off the field on 3rd down was a major weakness last year, and now we addressed it. y'all are some of the dumbest fuggers ever.
  21. we could pick #2, and they’d break for commercial
  22. lol...commercial. all offense so far. we can take the #1 defensive player.
