Bryce looks better for sure. Just be thankful Watson isnβt our QB and many here wanted him bad including our owner.

Best and worst PFF grades from Panthers' Week 9 win over Saints
jtm replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Bad teams are generally thin at most positions and it takes time to build the reserves. I think Morgan put a lot of stock in Wonnum producing and this has been a big disappointment. Brown and Shaq's injuries were significant and despite what us fans say, the defense is much better with Shaq on the field. -
Best and worst PFF grades from Panthers' Week 9 win over Saints

Coker, Legette, Sanders, and Brooks are going to be a lot of fun to watch the next couple of years and I hope they continue to develop. Just need to find a QB to get the ball to them. -
A bad look for sure, but I think Moore tweaked something but he still should have finished the play. Moore doesn't seem to like Caleb and Caleb strikes me as the type of guy that when he misses a throw it is always someone else's fault.

I wish Mingo the best but possession receivers with questionable hands don't fare well in the NFL and I hope he pulls it together.

Makes zero sense to trade Bryce mid-season.

Mondays on the Huddle after a win or loss are always an overreaction and super entertaining.

Offensive Starters (Where are they found in the draft)
jtm replied to SCO96's topic in Carolina Panthers
I'd love to see this stat broken down by each team during the same time period. I bet some of the good teams aren't much better at drafting then the middle of the road teams but they make up for it in free agency. -
They should bring him along very slowly to primarily get him ready for next year. This year is done and Chuba is playing fantastic.

The only thing worth watching these days is the growth of Legette, Coker, and Ja'Tavion Sanders. Hopefully we'll get to watch Brooks soon.

BREAKING: Panthers turning down trade interest in other players
jtm replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I don't even care any more and trade everyone. The Panthers can be the farm team for the rest of the NFL. -
Geez, another awful trade where we give up a good player for peanuts. Maybe this team needs some fire in the locker room versus a bunch of nice guys that lose well.

REPORT: Panthers will not trade Chuba Hubbard

The scenario could also be the Panthers or Browns or Giants. The Panthers can't continue to let every good player leave for draft picks. -
REPORT: Panthers will not trade Chuba Hubbard

Agree and my comment was why would he leave a sure thing if the money is comparable. I don't think there will be a many teams that won't to pay him a big contract but I guess we'll have to wait and see. -
REPORT: Panthers will not trade Chuba Hubbard

No, I'm not missing the point. Players almost always have a preference for the team that drafted them as long as the money is comparable. -
REPORT: Panthers will not trade Chuba Hubbard

I don't think he'll command that much money. If we can get him for a couple million a year and have this position locked up for the next several years, why wouldn't we do this. -

Anyone other than a rookie. -

MLB doesn't have to set protections. They normally do, but it doesn't have to be the MLB. -
REPORT: Panthers will not trade Chuba Hubbard

If the Panthers trade Hubbard for draft picks I'm going to lose my mind. Hubbard will not be expensive to keep and the Panthers should lock him up. -
Dan Graziano: Panthers will trade Diontae Johnson
jtm replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I don't think we can trade Johnson and we are going to have to tag him unless he's a complete locker room mess. I doubt he's going to be a locker room problem because he knows he can't get paid with this rep that he already has. Without Johnson, we literally have no receiving threats and how are we going to develop any QB without receivers. -
You mean the strategy of trading players for draft picks and then having an immediate need at the position you just traded isn't a winning strategy?
-
Trust me I feel the same way when this place wants to get rid of every player or coach that doesn't ball out in their first year. The Huddle would have traded Tom Brady and Peyton Manning after their first year. Again, I'm not saying Bryce is the answer, but they can't give up on him yet.
-
This is exactly what this place said about Mayfield with all the tipped balls. I don't think Bryce is the answer, but the Panthers have to stop looking for quick fixes and they need to be patient. Loser franchises constantly make rash decisions and giving up the farm for a guy and then unloading him in less than 2 seasons is crazy.

Who cares any more . . . this is such a clown show.

Dan Graziano: Panthers will trade Diontae Johnson

His effort was lacking last game and I perhaps Johnson has mailed it in. If this is accurate, who wants to give this guy big money anyway.
