Agree and I'm giving most players a pass last year with the sh@t show that they endured and the OL is included in this. Reich ran more of a zone blocking run scheme versus Wilks downhill style and our OL is built to go forward, not sideways.

Signing Brown and Luvu to long term deals are no brainers. They should tag and trade Burns for a 1st or a stud offensive player.

The GOATs always find a way to elevate their play and the play around them when it matters. Brady and Mahomes do this all the time and why they are who they are. The 49ers could have easily won that game last night and it is easy to second guess everything today, but I'd hold my head high if I was a 49ers fan or player.

I think we need a longer track record of being a good dude than 2 years because it appears he was still being a bad dude while he was in Seattle, which was 2 years ago. It is not like he interviewed to run a local business, the Panthers are a huge, worldwide company. I'm a father with two kids and I can't imagine doing what he did and then writing a book about it. His kids will have to deal with that book for the rest of their lives and don't deserve that. He's a public figure and it is not like you and I writing a book that no one will read. It is selfish behavior and I don't like it. I know it is sports and no one will care as long as he wins.

Someone prove me wrong because it appears he was still partying his a#$ off and disrespecting his family while he was in Seattle, which was only two years ago. All of a sudden years of poor decisions just disappears because he wrote a book and found religion? Actions are more important than words and I need more than 2 years of not being a complete dirt bag to get my support. Seriously, we can't find someone with a clean personal and professional background to run a multi billion dollar sports franchise.

I don't like the hire and I hope I'm wrong. Integrity is important on and off the field and this guy doesn't have it.

This is coming directly from someone that worked with Morgan. Believe it if you want to or not and I'm just passing along feedback I've heard.

Morgan was very well respected and highly regarded at Buffalo and worked closely with Beane. It would be a mistake to not give him a legitimate shot at the GM position. Having said this, if Morgan had any say in the personnel acquisitions that haven't worked, I don't want any part of Morgan as GM.

I don't hate it because I suspect Tepper would back off if we have someone like Belichik or Harbaugh. I'm just looking for watchable football for the next two years and it is sad that this franchise has fallen this far.

I'm starting to not like Ben Johnson as the hire. If he really wanted the job, he would have taken it last year and now he's throwing around a big number for a contract. I believe he did leak this number and his agent is denying this to save face.

It’s going to be a long road led by a guy that none of the fans like or respect. It will be interesting to see what is left of the fan base once the team is competitive again, if they can get competitive again. I’m not sure I’ll be around and I think a lot of fans feel the same way. It’s sad.

Burns is probably going 90% because of the sh@t show that he's a part of. No way Carolina let's him walk and he's going to get a big contract although Brown is the better player.

Does anyone actually think he's not meddling. Even worse, his wife is meddling too. I guess he's so rich that a NFL franchise is his toy and sadly, with the NFL's TV contract and PSLs, I'm sure the Panthers are still super profitable.
