  1. Because he's a rookie and he was playing with trash
  2. Corral was the only drafted QB to be 4th string: "but Deonte Brown was drafted" Corral had fewer reps in camp than any drafted QB: "but Dennis Daley was drafted" Corral had no open WRs and no pass pro in his worst snaps: "but Cade Mays was drafted"
  3. Apparently if they're late-round OL, it means it's the QB's fault
  4. You literally ignored everything I said to fixate on one thing. Didn't have an answer for anything, so you had to resort to straw man. Standard fare for you.
  5. BUT DEONTE BROWN WAS A DRAFT PICK1!1
  6. lol he could literally throw a pick every play and they'd make an excuse. inb4 "BUT DALEY WAS DRAFTED"
  7. And how did he do? Looked like ass
  8. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Straw_man
  9. Answer the question, don't change the subject.
  10. Oh good lord, it absolutely does. How much action did they get in camp? How many mental reps did they get?
  11. Last week, Howell had 3x as much time to throw, and had receivers who were literally uncovered. Apples and oranges doesn't even begin to describe it. Zappe threw a pick-six.
  12. In all but one or two possessions, he was the only drafted player on the field. As in, the other 10 guys were all UDFAs. He got the dregs that most camp arms get, as a third-round pick, to preserve PJ Walker. And then people expect him to be firing 35-yard strikes, to who? To the rejects who won't be on the team in a week and couldn't get separation from a fuging fencepost? With what time? Protected by Rhule's rejects like Tecklenburg, who's not even XFL-tier?
  13. I re-watched the two dangerous throws he made last night. In both occasions, absolutely no one -- wide receiver or RB -- got an ounce of separation. Everyone was covered. When he got hurt, New England rushed four. The C, RT and LT all missed their blocks or got blown up at the snap. He had no time to throw most every snap of preseason and when he did, the UDFA receivers got no separation. So he was saddled with 1) dump it off every possession and get called Clausen, or 2) take a few chances and get the "didn't show anything in preseason games" label.
  14. Absolutely nothing that has happened so far has shown Rhule's handling of anything is correct.
  15. Matt Corral deserved better than Matt Rhule.
  16. This is Carolina Huddle, not InsideCarolina. You’re in the wrong forum
  17. But but Sam Howell woulda thowed a touchdown pass
  18. If you’re comparing Corral to a former Panthers QB, Matt Moore is a more apt comparison than Jimmy Clausen. Clausen looked to check down quickly, whereas Corral keeps his eyes downfield longer — and has more mobility. But he needs more practice, and putting him in with a cast of UDFAs isn’t the way to develop him.
  19. Lol no they don’t, and you’re giving up on him after about 35 snaps of NFL football. What a clown. Clausen had no arm strength. Corral puts more zip on a deep ball than Clausen could on a curl.
  20. That’s fuging bullshit. Take it back to InsideCarolina. Sam Howell would be 0% better if he had garbage OL, WRs and Rhule to deal with.
