  1. No, I'm really not. I'm being realistic. There's absolutely no evidence that this team will ever even be mediocre under Tepper, there's absolutely no evidence Tepper has any desire to want them to be successful here, and there's ESPECIALLY no evidence Tepper is going to fire Rhule before his contact is up. Anything to the contrary has been wishful thinking supported by emotion, not logic.
  2. Yes, and it was courtesy of 15 accounts run by three different people.
  3. I mean, they do respond. Every time a team scores 17 points, they respond with a loss.
  4. Only about 150 more weeks to go til he's fired!
  5. Only one problem hoss: they're both steering clear of Charlotte and 1) staying in school, or 2) pulling an Eli/Elway
  6. LITERALLY ANYONE WOULD BE BETTER. LITERALLY. ANYONE. Tina Becker? UPGRADE Kim Jong Un? UPGRADE The ghost of Dick Clark? UPGRADE Sir Purr? MAJOR UPGRADE
  7. Not even close to rock bottom. One win in the last two games is not rock bottom. A 31-game losing streak through the end of next season, plus Rhule still in command come draft day -- now that's rock bottom.
  8. As I've said before and as continues to be true, Scott Fitterer is the Matt Rhule of GMs, and David Tepper is the Matt Rhule of owners. It takes true effort for a single NFL franchise of 32, to have the worst owner, worst coach and worst GM. And, maybe, worst QB -- but I still don't know that it's all on Baker, because Justin Herbert or Josh Allen would suck here as well. Baker's hellaciously unlikable, so I'll at least grant that.
  9. That's an excellent dark horse. Favorite: Mitch Trubisky Underdog: Carson Wentz Darkhorse: Cooper Rush Each of those three has a respectable shot at leading P.J. Walker on the depth chart next August.
  10. Oh I don't disagree, I'm just saying you could have the Chiefs, Rams or Bills roster and they'd still not win a game in November or December under Tepper.
  11. If anybody can come in with a great plan and fix a QB who needs a fresh start, it's Matt Rhule and his 1-37 record against teams scoring 17+ points.
  12. I'm not convinced we'll win 10 games combined for the rest of the decade.
  13. I'm thinking maybe a third and fourth, or a second and a fourth? May need to be a combination of 2023 and 2024 picks.
  14. I'd find it very hard to imagine a situation where keeping Rhule was more important to Tepper winning, but it's true. I'd find it very hard to imagine a situation where pissing off the Carolinas was more important to Tepper than getting a new facility, but it's true.
  15. I'll definitely allow that Justin Herbert would be Blaine Gabbert with this OL and coaching staff.
  16. 1) it's the predictability of the offensive gamelan. 2) the fans aren't booing early enough. "Did we go down and score a touchdown after they booed us? Yes" - Baker yesterday. That tells me that Baker needs to be booed as soon as he gets on the field, and then he'll lead a TD drive.
  17. The season actually ends Oct. 31. No Tepper team can win in November or December. Only a few more shots at a win.
  18. At this point, only losing 11 of the next 12 would be an improvement.
  19. No, he's giving the finger to the fans by keeping Rhule another three years.
