  1. Others keep attacking, keep throwing and give the other team time to come back and win — like last night
  2. I’ve rooted for Brown since he was at Auburn and am glad he’s arrived as a bonafide, standout DT here.
  3. If David Tepper ends up being better than Dean Spanos and his spawn, so be it, that’s good as long as it’s here. But the best things about his ownership have been things he inherited and forgot to get rid of, and things he backed his way into.
  4. Hot name in the coaching cycle, no experience doing what he’s being hired to do, minimal experience as a coordinator in the NFL. That checks every box for Tepper. 10 years/100 million should do it.
  5. You’re moving the goalposts and equating poor character with ownership. That’s not at all what I meant, and you know that. I even clarified it. Tepper is a worse owner because in five years, he’s got two seven-win seasons to his credit and zero playoff appearances. The Spanos inherited a competitive team and kept it that way. They just lost a playoff game but in order to do that, you have to make the playoffs Send me the link where Tepper did that.
  6. That's an awfully ballsy stance on David Tepper, but OK. Guess we'll see how it ages.
  7. As owners, you're saying Tepper is better?
  8. Be that as it may, the Spanos family are still a cut above the Teppers.
  9. Ben Johnson would be such a letdown. I mean whatever, good luck to the guy, but it would be a major disappointment. Yet another shiny new toy coach.
  10. Ben Johnson does not have enough experience to be an NFL HC and while he will at some point, whoever hires him now will regret it.
  11. That's fine but he wouldn't be any better without practice throwing to receivers.
  12. If Howell only got two passes every other practice, he probably would've looked the same way (as would every other QB). Practice makes you better, not "mental reps."
  13. I would give Pineiro some competition in camp, not just a throwaway glorified tryout. But if Pineiro keeps up his form from fall/winter, he can be the kicker Week 1.
  14. Not enough threads dedicated to Chris Weinke's game-losing pick six against Washington in 2001 in overtime
  15. Realistically if someone like Carr had: 61% comp, 3500 yds, 24 TD, 14 INT As a Panther, that translates to: 56% comp, 2400 yds, 12 TD, 18 INT
  16. If there's a veteran QB you want: take his stats from last year, then divide the TD total by two, double the INT and sack total, and take out 2/5 of all passing yards. That's what they'll do here.
  17. Lol, he didn’t tag you. You had to read the thread to find it. Keep telling on yourself.
  18. Oh, please. You camp out in every McCaffrey thread.
  19. That's all they ever do. Definitely need to spend more money on the OL. Add a tackle and a guard. Knowing this team, there's no way in hell that both BC and Corbett make it to Week 18.
  20. The point is not that it's an apples-to-apples comparison, but that it's a wholly unproven, young hotshot candidate with very little experience in leadership positions associated with head-coaching success.
  21. I want to win and don't care where they went to school. If this dude had more experience as an NFL OC, I'd be on board.
