  1. 0-17 is more than a real possibility. It’s an overwhelming likelihood.
  2. Drive-killing OL penalties and whiffs on the first drive are apparently not limited to rookie QBs.
  3. 3 draft picks inactive today, solid stuff by Fitterer
  4. That said I'd trade Reich for Ron straight-up bc he'd let Brown call plays
  5. Howell's just not finding guys when they're open. Needs to see the field better and get the ball out. There are plays to be made.
  6. Sam Howell might need a soft benching
  7. "START LUTON" threads coming at 1:04pm next week after Bryce scrambles for 2 yards on the first play and the color commentator says "Nobody's open there"
  8. That's not even Bryce Young. Bryce Young got hurt in camp and we're seeing an actor/hologram.
  9. One thing: it is a far-fetched, unrealistic and asinine conspiracy theory, though. No coach is going to soft-bench his rookie QB after two fuging games. Sorry, bro, that's a stupid opinion. Some other things to note as I go through the chapters of this book: 1) I root for Bryce because he's here. I wanted Stroud in March. Welcome to search my posts for proof. 2) The offense has sucked for a multitude of reasons. Why doesn't Tepper soft-fire Reich and let Brown call the plays? Why doesn't Sanders, who barely ran for more yards than Young last week, get soft-benched for Hubbard? 3) This receiving corps doesn't have talent, they can't run routes correctly, and they can't get separation. And when they do, like Mingo on third down, they can't catch. 4) He's left one big play on the field. One. You bitched last year that Darnold took stupid shots when no one was open, now you're bitching because Young won't take stupid shots when no one is open. All it boils down to is, you're boasting because you didn't want Young, and now you kinda want Young to succeed, but if he doesn't succeed, you at least have the self-satisfaction that you didn't want him anyway. There are a dozen of your kind on here (at least a few are OSU fans), and y'all have lit this place up since week 1, but when Young did something well, oh it was *crickets* or "About time."
  10. I blame the NFL for forcing one of its boys here instead of Ben Navarro, because he wasn't enough of a rich scumbag. As far as who dictated the draft picks, what difference does that make now? We have who we have.
  11. Between the conspiracies, the Buckeye Boosters and worst of all, Juan getting banned, I'm about done lol
  12. The Panthers don't have a functional franchise for any rookie QB to thrive (sorry, Buckeye Boosters) and that's exacerbated with a woeful play-caller and offensive pieces that would make the 2001 Panthers blush. Besides, this season is about growth, learning and taking lumps. At least, it was before the opening kickoff.
  13. I'd get it if he were a pick machine who was ignoring his top targets, but he has no top target. Or even a good target. Of course the YPA isn't gonna be high if 1) pass rush and no open WRs caused 8 throwaways in Week 1 2) he's missed some downfield throws that would've improved YPA (really, two) 3) receivers aren't getting separation, they're running abysmal routes and they're simply not up to the task befitting their spot on the depth chart 4) Reich's offense, like last year's with Indianapolis, is predicated on short throws and timing throws, not 2011-style bombs 5) Reich's playcalling is situationally less accurate than any pass Bryce has thrown
  14. Why would you bench a rookie quarterback two games into his career, when he just lost by 3 points and has as many touchdowns as interceptions? The point of having a rookie QB is to let him learn. Some guys throw 3-4 picks in their first game and even more the next, but they don't get benched after two games. I get that you've hated Young since Day 1, but how can you still think that's a viable decision? I flat-out do not understand how we've reached QAnon levels of conspiracy here.
  15. I'll also say this (JT O'Sullivan would agree) he wasn't bad in his second game
  16. I like how the same people who were saying "people are expecting too much of Bryce" in July, gave up on him after two games
  17. Well whoever wanted the Panthers to look like Colorado got their wish
  18. Richardson’s rushed 13 times for 75 yds, longest run of 18. Young’s rushed 5 times for 51 yards, longest run of 26. Young’s actually done more on the ground when he’s running it, but he doesn’t have the goal line touchdowns. I was surprised that it’s that close and granted Richardson missed a chunk of last week, but he’s doing it on designed runs and read options. Young’s got those numbers just from escaping.
  19. Watching JT's newest video once again proves Bryce's receivers had little to no separation all night. Now, the 8-10 people who camp out in every Bryce thread will conveniently ignore that and instead highlight a third-down sack or a missed throw, (the sack, especially, is fair game) but the full picture from JT's video is that Bryce's mechanics are fine, his decision-making doesn't deserve 1/10 of the vitriol it gets on here, and the biggest issue regarding his lack of success isn't being shorter than most QBs. It's the subpar playcalling, the route concepts, and the non-existent separation. Stroud would not fare much better, if at all, with the tools available here.
  20. You climbed others' asses about how it was the offensive line, and how it would take more than two weeks for a fourth-year veteran to show what he could do. And yet, a first-year rookie doesn't even get two weeks now. Nothing's changed except your amount of patience, and no "but McCaffrey" insult can change that.
