  1. We're just a couple of months away from the MLS SuperDraft (I wish they'd just call it the MLS Draft), while the Expansion Draft is also coming up fast. So, how are we feeling? There's not a lot of energy in this forum so I'm wondering if people are lukewarm on this new team, or what the feelings are right now. I don't feel like there's much of a buzz, for as quickly as the important stuff is approaching. Are Huddlers gonna buy tickets? Is Charlotte as a whole going to embrace this new venture?
  2. Not necessarily. I don't think advocating for more of the same that's getting us in this predicament is also somehow going to get us out of said predicament. Seems at least one WR agrees with me.
  3. I'd pick Chud but I can't go with an OC whose record here, no matter how much wasn't on him, was 13-19 with 0 playoff appearances. Henning was almost as conservative as Rhule and Brady and while his worst year here was by far his last (2006), he guided an offense led by Jake Delhomme, Muhsin Muhammad and Nick Goings to within a hair of the playoffs in 2004 -- a year after we went to the Super Bowl.
  4. I liked Chud a lot, but having our leading rusher in the 2012 season opener be a WR who ran for 6 yards was embarrassing as hell. Combine Chud's refusal to call short pass plays with Brady's refusal to call deep pass plays, and you've got a solid OC. As it is, yuck. Henning wins by default
  5. I'll also really be interested to see if we have another 8-plus-game losing streak this year. And how that'll affect the reputation of this coaching staff.
  6. To add to this, we're always one of the youngest teams because Rhule creates that built-in excuse, by bringing in young Temple players and jettisoning every veteran acquired before 2020.
  7. If Anderson went to Ohio State, he wouldn't have been offered an extension. Sorry, but that's reality.
  8. That's a valid point, but remember that Rhule and Fitterer don't want to keep anyone other than Moton from as far back as 2019
  9. Damn bro did Rhule have a stop in South Carolina at some point? Good deal
  10. I wonder what the rest of the team thinks when they see Sam Tecklenburg get a jersey on game day for one reason and one reason only.
  11. I think it was more that their personnel, especially up front, just did a better job.
  12. I’m not gonna say what I’m having, I’m just gonna say we have a great track record when I have it on game day
  13. This is Nick Goings running the ball against the Ravens, your argument is invalid
  14. It's early, but you can't argue with this season's record to this point. If we make the playoffs this year and Rhule shows a commitment to keeping our best non-Baylor and non-Temple players, I'll be on the way to being sold.
  15. I agree with this and I definitely endorse going after and picking up a top-10 draft pick from one year ago at a position of need. It was a good trade on paper -- now, we see how it plays out. Hopefully this is a sign of wanting to compete and not an obsession with roster churning.
  16. I’m out in Vegas and the fox sports radio affiliate talked about the Panthers like crazy last night. It was cool. Sang our praises for the most part.
  17. I’m pretty sure Steve Smith had that injury when he was older, didn’t he? He came back fine.
