  1. Because they lost a Final Four game to the national runner-up? Please.
  2. Everything I said was factual.
  3. I understand your bias, but you're insanely misinformed. He repeatedly said it was about the players. in fact, the only people who tend to believe this, are Carolina fans. If K retired after last year you guys would absolutely, 1000% call him a quitter. But Roy leaving after throwing his team under the bus, promoting recruits "you'll play for me next year," and spearheading a 25-point first round beatdown was somehow noble. It's the double standard that never ceases to amaze me.
  4. Well, you're about to get inundated with "DUHHH WE RETIRED COCHE L LMAO WHO CAERS ABOUT THE TITOL GAME" UNC over-achieved and won a big rivalry game because one guy on their side hit a three that the guy on the opposite side didn't. It was a back-and-forth classic, but people in this thread will assure you it was a 79-point blowout win between a Duke team full of NBA legends and a UNC team full of truck drivers. The absolutely classless obsession over Coach K, replete with UNC fans saying poo like "we killed Coach K," "we hosted his funeral on Saturday," absolute tripe like that on social media just continues to exemplify the kind of toxic fanbase Carolina has.
  5. Again -- don't take exception from feeling big when you win a rivalry game. But this Coach K obsession is a little bit weird. I feel like UNC fans obsess over him more than Duke fans.
  6. I wasn't going to engage in this circle-jerk cesspool, but the complete denial of reality has to be addressed. I wasn't talking poo, by the way. I refuted some particularly incendiary, misinformed opinions people are attempting to pass off as fact.
  7. So making the Final Four makes you the joke of college basketball. What's Kentucky? Gonzaga? This is why people dislike UNC: their fans are infinitely more toxic than the people they regularly denounce.
  8. This comment confirms you're a casual with no concept of reality. Really? No one remembers who won the title? Sure, maybe to people who try and sweep their failings under the rug. To the greater populace, UNC blew the biggest lead in title game history. Don't care how you feel about it. It's a fact. Glad you came to terms with it so well because you won the national semifinal game by four points.
  9. You spent far more time searching for these gifs than I did to simply prove my point in the beginning. But yes, that gif signifying your presence on the Huddle was appreciated.
  10. Is losing a close game in the last minute of the Final Four getting embarrassed? I mean honestly, if that's getting embarrassed what do you call the largest collapse in title game history? Bad luck?
  11. Perhaps it is the bootlickers who should hit the bricks.
  12. You decided to waste your time looking up dogshit gifs to illustrate how much you care.
  13. Oh, but the NFL is the king of good 'ole boy business. The Mara family can attest to that. Regardless -- unless the City of Charlotte pays up, we'll get to see.
  14. Choosing the wrong city to bilk out of money and throw some of your own cash toward, only to back out, is not "playing it correctly." If he didn't want this secondary pet project, the $175 million spent on this eyesore in Rock Hill could've gone toward the new stadium he wants.
  15. The sooner you realize David Tepper is Football George Shinn, the better. Not better in the sense we're more likely to lose the team than keep it, but better in the sense that you can prepare to have a new favorite team because the NFL has no interest in fighting to keep a franchise in Charlotte (or, because there are already 32 teams and 8 4-team divisions, expand to Charlotte). It's completely ambivalent to the concept.
  16. Yeah, and I remain convinced that 1) the NFL has no desire to go against Jerry Jones and add another Texas team, and 2) Tepper will move this team in a heartbeat if he doesn't get his stadium. And, I might add, he will want another in 10-12 years.
  17. It's unfortunate that it's just standard fare for a billionaire to ask cities for hundreds of millions of dollars to fund a pet project they could easily afford with the snap of a finger.
  18. If, sure. But Elon Musk could also buy David Tepper and keep the Panthers in Charlotte. Likely? No. But possible.
  19. Wishful thinking. Don't underestimate Jerry Jones' reach.
  20. Can't refute a single point I made, so I guess shitposting was your only option.
