How good is Brian Burns 2022 campaign?
Carl Spackler replied to micnificent28's topic in Carolina Panthers
When will you serve your week’s ban for a two-sack game in a Week 16 win that kept the season alive? The way I see it, you should get a week’s break for that one first. Then, sure? The season’s over and this is a forum. I really don’t care which of us gets banned after this week. -

You still haven’t answered my question -

You don’t get to make the rules at times when they only suit you. So I guess I’ll wait on your week’s vacation from the Lions game, huh? -

I’ve already answered your question. I don’t need to. I can simply avoid threads I don’t like after subpar games, as you’ve proven. -

I’m the high one? You’re the one who thinks Brian Burns, third among all DEs in sacks, is worse than a dozen players with inferior statistics. You jumped at the chance to bump this thread this week, but when Burns has a good game, it collects dust. You don’t get to bump threads after bad games and pretend they don’t exist after good ones, then question MY sanity -

Why should I, when I can just avoid this thread like you did? -

What’s hilarious about all this is he’s not even my favorite player, I just think he’s hideously under-appreciated by fans such as yourself. When does your ban from last week start? -
Is Corner our second biggest need behind QB?
Carl Spackler replied to OnlyPantherFaninMaine's topic in Carolina Panthers
Jaycee “Gordon Hayward” Horn is a very good CB who you have to plan for missing time with injuries. So, CB is a huge need but not above QB, DE and OL depth. -

So 9 or 10 DEs with fewer sacks are better DEs. Just making sure. Regardless of where you put him and how many awful takes you have, I’d really be more apt to engage if you didn’t exclusively post about him after a loss. -
Let’s see a full season first. Take 3 incoming.

So among all DEs, where do you rank Burns? Let’s hear it. -
Horn is Football Anthony Davis. He’ll be an impact player for six games a year, he’ll have a couple off games and the rest will be in street clothes.

Big time players show up in big time games

DJ Moore is a big-time player then -
We were 1 player away from Winning

If Horn and Jackson were in there, the NFL might’ve needed to change the point value of touchdowns to help Brady. -
Fitterer made another fantastic trade in acquiring him for a meaningless draft pick.

CJ is an excellent No. 3 corner for a USFL team.

As was the case with Julius Peppers, Luke Kuechly and Cam Newton before him, history will look down poorly on those who think Brian Burns sucks or is mediocre -

If you don’t have the balls to comment after two sacks in a win, you have absolutely no room to talk after a loss that falls on the defensive backfield before anyone else. -

Carl Spackler replied to Carl Spackler's topic in Carolina Panthers
Fitterer can’t draft and it’s a crap shoot to begin with, so draft position is meaningless. Personally I’d just like to not finish last like one time. -
Today was the best shot at at least finishing third. Maybe second, but the Cardinals and Eagles, predictably, laid down like a bunch of bitches. Damn eternal last-place finishes. Not blaming the team for today’s loss. They pushed hard and the NFL had to intervene as we predicted. But next week, next week is on them. And on the defensive backfield.
