I think that was Rhule
-
Oh yeah if this thread goes over 12 pages, you know the team had consecutive top-3 picks
-
I for one have no idea why anyone would think David and Nicole Tepper won't hire the absolute best, most qualified coaching candidate

Panthers head coach Scott Frost

What I predict and what I would do are nearly polar opposites.

So which QB do we think will be available at #9?
Carl Spackler replied to NAS's topic in Carolina Panthers
Four QBs will not go in the top 8. -
Beating the Saints cost us 1 draft slot after all
Carl Spackler replied to Peon Awesome's topic in Carolina Panthers
After reading what all the Saints fans on the Huddle had to say, I checked what the Saints fans on their board thought. A vast, vast majority of them were far more angry about losing a division game. -

Oh I know, one pick from Kyle Dugger in the same draft as well. Chinn's good, but Dugger is better. -

This whole "if it weren't for morale victories we'd have gotten Justin Herbert" narrative needs to GTFO. 1) it's moral victories, not morale victories 2) there were no moral victories that year! We lost 8 games in a row to end the season! -

Carl Spackler replied to Peon Awesome's topic in Carolina Panthers
Lost the last 8 games of the season that year after starting 5-3. Should we have started tanking in Week 7 while leading the division? -

Losing to a team with 23 team passing yards is embarrassing, so we absolutely embarrassed them- 82 replies

QBR and QB rating are two different things. Clausen had a 62.9 rating in that game. Darnold's QBR was 0.0 today and his rating was 2.8.

I don't pull for anyone in them and the Bills are getting it anyway.

Losing is for losers. Come get your victory pie.
Carl Spackler replied to ClawOn's topic in Carolina Panthers
I'm pleased with it. Best division record (4-2) in seven seasons, too. Even had a winning record at home. Never would've guessed that early in the year. -
STEVE WILKS - FINAL POLL THREAD
Carl Spackler replied to Sean Payton's Vicodin's topic in Carolina Panthers
Not Sure B Wilks isn't my first pick, but he's well ahead of other possibilities so it depends on the identity of the finalists -

the guy drafted the year after the Panthers went 0-8 in the second half of the season? -
Legit worst OP of all time

Sam Darnold is an infinitely more likable Derek Anderson

Lose when it matters, win when it doesn’t
Carl Spackler replied to mcsmoak's topic in Carolina Panthers
I've definitely done some stupid poo, but I've never openly rooted for the New Orleans Saints. Few on this board can also lay claim to that -
I hope so, Richardson will be better than two of them
-
Anthony Richardson and/or Quentin Johnston will be there

Official Panthers at Saints let's get this over with GameDay thread
Carl Spackler replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
fug it. I’m happy. Sweeping the Saints for the first time since 2015, winning 7 games and finishing second in the division trumps a damn draft pick any day. You can trade for good picks and players. You can’t trade for beating the Saints. -
No Jim Harbaugh - Carolina focusing attention elsewhere
Carl Spackler replied to therealmjl's topic in Carolina Panthers
If there's anyone you can trust to make the right coaching hire, it's David Tepper. He'll definitely have this team looking better next year than this year for sure
