  1. I uh, have no excitement at all and will probably be asleep before it's over. Hopefully the same won't be said for the players and coaches
  2. A guy with that level of potential would definitely already be on IR here.
  3. Herbert would’ve had no chance under Rhule. And Teddy was not fun to watch. Before the Teddy threads start flying at 9:30 tonight, Teddy couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn when it came to RZ passes (practice or not).
  4. He's gonna overthrow receivers a lot because he's noodle-armed. He also took too many aggressive throws because he plays it safe all the time. He's so even-keeled that he panics a lot. Anything else we can add to the list?
  5. I hate the route concepts on most plays. I hated them in preseason as well. Good luck, Bryce. A quarter of your team’s fans already hate you, you’ve got to be nearly perfect and you’ve got nothing to work with. Great recipe for misery.
  6. I get being a Stroud fanboy but was the expectation Young is a failure if he isn’t putting up 309 yards and 3 TD every week? He’s probably gonna play worse this week — but if he puts up a 78 QB rating like Stroud did, hope to hear some reeeeaall positive feedback since that’s apparently the benchmark
  7. How can it be one of the worst you’ve ever seen if there’s at least 15 that are worse? That’s hyperbole. in zero of those games listed did the rookie throw a TD pass.
  8. Iron Bowl woulda been tuuurrnnntttttt though
  9. Yeah i like Freeze as a coach, but Deion was my first pick. It wouldn't work there, though. Deion would want more freedom, and the athletic department wouldn't give it up.
  10. Wish Auburn hired Deion, but that would never work there. Too much booster influence even after the days of Lowder and Rane
  11. No way it was Jaycee Horn. He'd break at least two fingers before he finished typing all that
  12. It actually proves the opposite. Your words were "one of the worst rookie performances ever," and I listed out a slew of performances that were much worse. You're welcome to keep going back and forth with me on this forever. You're gonna need to move the goalposts a bit, though.
  13. On the flip side of the coin, I’m not sure what you’d call predicting playoffs when Matt Rhule is the coach.
  14. To be honest I think Bryce is gonna have a putrid game Monday, get booed a decent bit, and people in here are gonna want Dalton to start in Week 3. Then he's gonna come out and play well.
  15. Had the second-longest run of the day. I mention all these things because they're true. But I'm also not convinced he's gonna be good.
  16. I will realize that negative 3 years from now, when I originally said it
  17. This gon' be a bloodbath. On the field, the scoreboard and especially here.

  19. This team is going to go 3-14 or 4-13. But 9-8 is on the cards next year
